Nice modern clean room, great value for money. The location is great, just off the main road of restaurants and bars but still quiet. Erwen was fantastic, so friendly and helpful and would arrange any trips, transports or bike rentals for you. Would definitely stay here again. P.s we loved Erwen’s Hawaiian shirts!!

The people at Fat Lips Lodge are incredibly welcoming, especially since it was our first time in Siargao. Sir Tim and Ms. Din were very accommodating, and the staff made us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and it felt like we had been staying there for much longer. The lodge itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and has a relaxing atmosphere that perfectly matched the island vibe. We especially loved the spacious rooms and comfortable amenities. The location is very convenient, close to the beach and local attractions, and they also offer motorcycles for rent, which was a huge plus – we didn’t need to look elsewhere. Overall, our stay in Siargao was great, and Fat Lips played a big part in making it memorable. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer at Fat Lips – it truly made our time in Siargao unforgettable!

The most amazing property! Felt at home here! Rooms are exceptionally clean and the facilities are really great. The staff couldn’t do anymore for you! We miss this place ! It is located on the main road in Siargao however is a little further along making it very peaceful and quiet!

Alex the host/owner is very informative and helpful! He knows so much about the area and he is very approachable. The villas were great with stunning sunsets. Very very peaceful. The pool and sauna are great. The food served there is the best in Surigao! No need to eat else where.

Our family stayed in the Garden View Family Room and Ocean View Family Room for a total of 5 nights. It was the most welcoming and enjoyable time during our 12 days in Siargao. The reception, restaurant, and all the staff were friendly and did their best to help. The room cleaning was very sincere. The breakfast was not fancy, but it was delicious enough. They rented a motorbike at a reasonable price and helped us book a tour van. The swimming pool was large and clean enough, which was the kids' favorite place, and the private beach was a well-maintained sandy beach that was good enough for swimming. My greatest joy was seeing the sea every day. The reason I was not satisfied with the island hopping tour was because there was a beautiful beach in front of us.

There's really nothing to complain about this place, everything about it is great and I believe you cannot find any structure which looks the same with the same price tag. We also had the chance to chat a little with the owner who has lived a really adventurous life and has plenty of great stories to tell, I really hope to resemble him, even a little, when (and if) I grow old myself. Thank you Khan and thank you to all the people in the staff who were really kind and super accomodating with all of our requests

We had a wonderful stay at Reef Beach. Location is excellent half way between Cloud 9 and General Luna. Restuarant/room service at the property, also restaurants surrounding. Air conditioned room, cleaned every 2 days. Pool is amazing after a day in the heat. Staff went above and beyond to help with any enquiry/request. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks again to the wonderful staff 🙏

Delicious breakfast served every morning. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. It takes only 10 minutes by tuk tuk to General Luna. The reception staff is extremely helpful with organizing tuk tuk pick ups, arranging surf lessons, restaurant bookings and sightseeing tours as well massages. Thank you so much!

General Luna is an ideal place for surfers (from enthusiast to pro). Although, hoping my next coming will be improved) but for us working remotely anywhere, data internet is a bit challenge specially if there is a typhoon. This is near to activity and go-to places (party and food).

Transportation was convenient to and from the apartment. Very cost effective. I learned of and utilized "tricycles" and "multi cabs". This was easy for me since I was in the company of a lady who spoke the local language. I recommend use of a translator or as I did, a special friend who speaks the language. I also disagree with booking.coms 3 out of 5 review. That is a low score compared to my experience.

Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype. The French bakery near the Surf area serves really really good breadz croissants, sourdough and other food. The burger place we went to is much much better than shake shack. The coffee place we tried serves much much better coffee than starbucks and zus.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

We spent some afternoons going around General Luna, and it truly gave us that relaxing island vibe. We visited different restaurants, and most of them have a modern island style that still keeps the local charm. You can really feel that the island is improving and growing, with new cafés, shops, and beach spots popping up, yet it still keeps its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The people are welcoming, the sunsets are stunning, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. Whether you’re into surfing, food trips, or just relaxing by the sea, General Luna is a must-visit destination. ✨ Highly recommended for travelers who want to experience the true beauty, warmth, and chill vibe of Siargao Island.

Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down to Pantukan wanted to break up the long drive south ! Butuan was a very busy city and lots of traffic. smog was bad due to the heat and high volume if traffic .We only visited the mall which was like every other mall ! We went to a pizza restaurant looking for alternative and guess what they only had pizza available everything else was off the menu ! But far play the pizza was awesome and very filling ! So 10/10 guys

Surigao is recovering from damage caused by typhoon Odette. I suggest waiting a year or so before visiting here. It was rainy and windy during our visit so not fair to comment. Did not feel safe to walk around at night. We observed many blatant drug users along the Seawall opposite our hotel.
