Very nice air conditioned room with mini fridge and clean bathroom in a provincial setting just 5 minutes from where the Sasa ferry arrives. You can walk it. It is about 400 meters. No taxi or tricycle needed. You can find the exact location using the app Waze. There is a shared kitchen you can use to make coffee or tea, toast or a simple meal. Good value for money.
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Spacious 36sqm Studio with 65" TV Netflix Karaoke and Pool Access Near Airport and Samal Ferry is located in Dasag.

The free boat transfer is a godsend as we had no idea how to get there !
Staff welcome you with a fruit juice then show you to your cottage or room which was nice n cool with ac on in preparation.
Food at dinner was fantastic with serving on your own balcony which was like something from a Sandals resort !
Staff are so helpful and beach facilities are cool too.

Honestly the photos dont do this place the justice it deserves. The accomodation was excellent, very clean and tidy. The food was amazing and the location idyllic. The butler service really was the cherry on top and gave a personalised experience for myself and my girlfriend.
Complimentary Sunset Cocktail Shuttle Service ,varietes of food choices( Buffet ) fresh Sweet Mangoes in room. Very friendly Staffs. Location is quite relaxing.. Mandaya houses in the middle of forest.

such a lovely place to stay... and an amazing host.
such a lovely place to stay... and an amazing host.
highly recommended... suggest hiring a scooter near the port to get there as it will be about the same cost as a single tuk tuk journey
Mommy Mia is also an excellent chef and maybe persuaded to make a simple meal for a reasonable cost.
I'll be back soon

Samal is a quaint and beautiful island.
Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. I didn't like it for swimming, more for touring.
