We really love Casa Basa, the design is absolutely stunning, modern and clean. The attention is particularly special all the time. They rented us the best moto in the Philippines, super new! The location was also ok to go by moto or tricycle to town. Highly recommended 😀 exceed our expectations, hopefully we can repeat!

This place is brand new, and it's so beautiful. Everything is pristine and well designed including the nice decor and plants. Having your own private pool right outside the room is such a cool concept and I think it's what made our stay so special for us. The bed is super comfortable, which I find to be rare in the Philippines - the beds are usually too hard for me, but not this one! There are plenty of great bars and restaurants as well as the beach within short walking distance so the location is also fantastic. Can't fault this place at all, highly recommend it! Almost forgot to mention the lovely staff that looked after us during our stay. Thank you so much guys! We'll be back.

We had such a great time at Siargao Island Villas! The staff were super nice and even let us check in early, I think around 9am, even though check in was supposed to be at 2pm. Breakfast was so good, perfect for big eaters like us. They had rice, ulam, breads, desserts, pancakes, waffles, and different spreads. We stuffed ourselves every morning, haha. Our favorite spot was the pool bar, where we had drinks almost every night and loved their kalamares. The bar staff were so friendly too! The place was really convenient, with water dispensers on every floor and the reception ready to help with anything like extra towels or coffee. The pool and gym were just downstairs from our room, and we even played a few games there. The staff were also super helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations. Siargao is such a beautiful place, and staying here made the trip even better. Definitely a vacation to remember!

Pros: Patrick's is right on the beach! They have cabanas for dining right on the beach. Pick a cabana, and they will serve your food to you there. Swimming on Patrick's beautiful sandy beach is amazing. (Best swimming is during high tide). Good WIFI. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and ATM are just a short walk. Beautiful lush grounds, and nice landscaping. Bungalows have ocean view from your front deck. Surfboard and instructor at Cloud Nine available for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per hour. (It's a 10 minute tricycle ride to Cloud Nine). Be advised, the ocean bottom at Cloud Nine is rocky, not sand! Motor bikes available on site at Patrick's. They rent for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per day. Island Tour or Land Tour available. Inquire at front desk about rentals and activities. Beach view Ping Pong table available at Patrick's restaurant. Friendly staff.

The whole place was a vibe. The dorms were clean and spacious. The communal space was insane! I left another party hostel I wasn't happy at and found this. It was super chill + zen and the pool area outside was my fave! They also serve yummy food + smoothies Staff were friendly too..I did the land tour from this hostel too, which was fun!

Location is great, positioned in the middle of the main strips of General Luna- yet perfectly offset by a long garden entrance, keeping the resort quiet at night and poolside always relaxing. The staff were excellent and attentive- the daily room cleans (fresh towels!) and bottomless house made softdrink were great additions to our stay.

General Luna is an ideal place for surfers (from enthusiast to pro). Although, hoping my next coming will be improved) but for us working remotely anywhere, data internet is a bit challenge specially if there is a typhoon. This is near to activity and go-to places (party and food).

Burgos is a quiet place with easy access to Pacifico Beach for surfing and to the main attractions in the north, with motorbike rentals, fresh fish and fruit markets, and great restaurants that will grill the fish you buy for you.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

We spent some afternoons going around General Luna, and it truly gave us that relaxing island vibe. We visited different restaurants, and most of them have a modern island style that still keeps the local charm. You can really feel that the island is improving and growing, with new cafés, shops, and beach spots popping up, yet it still keeps its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The people are welcoming, the sunsets are stunning, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel...

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Air conditioning was not working. No extra fans available. Care taker not helpful. I had to book extra room to accommodate my group since the original room they gave us is too hot, aircondition not working, no fan and windows won’t close. I had to pay extra money for the inconvenience.
