The place was just like in the pictures. The room was on the second floor, and there was a kitchen and fridge on the first floor that people could use. The restaurant recommendations from Capacabana were also great. The staff were very friendly, especially Erwin, who was always happy to help and had a cheerful demeanor.

Excellent food selection. The people who prepare the food take pride in making it delicious and satisfying. Important since the location is far away from the main town. Great romantic feeling. The surf break there is excellent which was a big plus since the heavy rain made travel difficult for much of the trip.

Place os very good and welcoming. Also reception can help to find u bike for rent, excursion or surfing lesson. Breakfast was exelent every time. I loterally can't say anything bad about place. Also restourant itself good there, for lunch or dinner whatever. Nice thing that u don't need to take money every time u go restourant, u can just put bill on ur room number, very convinient, often did that when all wet after pool and didn't have money with me. Pool which they have always clean and nice. Room is big enough, balcony in nice to drink coffee in the morning. Parking for scooter in front of the place.

My time at Amanzohi was nothing sort of absolutely outstanding!!  Donnah was amazing and was able to take care of all my requests.  She even helped arranged transportation multiple times, including airport transportation, and surfing lessons with one of the best instructors. It is an excellent central location in General Luna with everything you need within walking distance.  Across the street is the only restaurant open 24 hours which was great for my early morning breakfast and coffee.   The Greek restaurant next door is also a must try.  The beds are super comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean.  The private pool and shower area are a very nice touch.  A/C and a hot shower are also included which I found out when talking with other travelers that a hot shower is not something always offered.  One thing to mention is the book store across the road does karaoke which you can hear sometimes in the evening but never kept me awake or have trouble falling asleep.  Wherever you stay in General Luna you are going to hear something in the evening hours.   I will definitely be back again. Thank you Donnah and Amanzohi!!

Pros: Patrick's is right on the beach! They have cabanas for dining right on the beach. Pick a cabana, and they will serve your food to you there. Swimming on Patrick's beautiful sandy beach is amazing. (Best swimming is during high tide). Good WIFI. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and ATM are just a short walk. Beautiful lush grounds, and nice landscaping. Bungalows have ocean view from your front deck. Surfboard and instructor at Cloud Nine available for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per hour. (It's a 10 minute tricycle ride to Cloud Nine). Be advised, the ocean bottom at Cloud Nine is rocky, not sand! Motor bikes available on site at Patrick's. They rent for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per day. Island Tour or Land Tour available. Inquire at front desk about rentals and activities. Beach view Ping Pong table available at Patrick's restaurant. Friendly staff.

Everything! The villa was stunning, clean, and perfectly designed for relaxation. General Luna is an ideal place for surfers (from enthusiast to pro). Although, hoping my next coming will be improved) but for us working remotely anywhere, data internet is a bit challenge specially if there is a typhoon. This is near to activity and go-to places (party and food).

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

We spent some afternoons going around General Luna, and it truly gave us that relaxing island vibe. We visited different restaurants, and most of them have a modern island style that still keeps the local charm. You can really feel that the island is improving and growing, with new cafés, shops, and beach spots popping up, yet it still keeps its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The people are welcoming, the sunsets are stunning, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. Whether you’re into surfing, food trips, or just relaxing by the sea, General Luna is a must-visit destination. ✨ Highly recommended for travelers who want to experience the true beauty, warmth, and chill vibe of Siargao Island.

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel...

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Air conditioning was not working. No extra fans available. Care taker not helpful. I had to book extra room to accommodate my group since the original room they gave us is too hot, aircondition not working, no fan and windows won’t close. I had to pay extra money for the inconvenience.
