Had a lovely stay at this beachfront hotel. The room was very spacious, with a beautiful pool view, and the bathroom was equally roomy and well-designed. Breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is fantastic—close to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, with tuk-tuks readily available. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Tip: go for a high-floor room on the left side—this gives you the best of both worlds: sunrise views from your doorway and a stunning sunset sky from your balcony.

The best resort ever I should recommend for staying at Bohol!!! My BF Propose me here, and they helped to arrange all the decorations (balloons & sign& flowers) I highly recommend to stay at mayana. Although the amenities and facilities of the hotel were excellent, what really stood out was the quality of service they offered for the guests. They offer a complimentary foot wash (with light scrub) upon arrival but could also be requested at another time if you wish. My partner and I were celebrating our 5th year anniversary and there was an anniversary cake waiting for us at the room when we arrived. The room was huge with a private jacuzzi at the second floor terrace. There was also some free sweet/dessert treats every evening delivered to our room. It was my partner's first visit to the Philippines and Boracay and he was very impressed. Thanks to the team!

Staff were well spoken, efficient and helpful. The room was gorgeous - comfy beds and good layout (they also had a turn down service!!). The Restaurants all served delicious foods. The Spa was lovely (and smelled amazing). The pools and amenities were all pristine and managed well. The complimentary services such as Morning yoga (Wed/Sat) and the free cocktail hour on Wednesday and Fridays was delightful. The location was unbeatable! It was private, yet had connections to the public beach and private cove. The security was very good also. 10/10

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Love how they cook the omelette during the breakfast buffet. The veggie clear soup as well. Shoutout to the frontdesk officer Kris. Staff are helpful in many way even in suggesting what to do and where to go when in Cebu. The hotel has a nearby 24 hrs convenient store with branded overrun items that you can buy. The location is at the heart of the City. The 2 rooms booked for my family is overlooking the Cebu-Cordova link bridge. Will sure to come back.

There is a lot to see and visit in Cebu City.

There is a lot to see and visit in Cebu City. It appears the city is riding a wave of investment with lots pf construction everywhere. However some of the main roads and streets are very congested and the government will have to come up with a plan soon to fix this problem before the entire network is choked. This traffic problem will deter international visitors. Cebu is a city with lots of scenery and looked after environmental areas.

the weather apps aren't accurate here and one would definitely enjoy their stay if the weather is on the good side! we stayed for 3-4 days and really enjoyed our stress free vacation where we could spend more time on relaxing as well. it is so easy to go around and everything is available nearby be it any essential or food or view or music just anything. out of all the activities, we really enjoyed parawsailing and would reccommend it to anyone visiting the island! overall boracay is worth visiting!

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu...

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu City and we only had three days at the end of an island hopping cycling tour that finished in Cebu City. Now that we have seen other islands I would recommend that guests take a ferry and go to Bohol or Soquijor islands if they have more than 2 nights stay available. The overall experience will be much nicer , including better beaches and snorkeling.

Siquijor is truly magical, healing and mystical creature of nature. I was relaxed during my stay. The place is very affordable and not much expensive as compare to other Islands. People are so kind and caring to the visitors. The beach was so amazing to see the beautiful sunset. Indeed, it's a hidden paradise of visaya region. I visited twice and I will repeat it again for future visit.

Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza being the main attraction, the outskirts are beautiful and offer lot of things to do like in Silay, where beautiful Ancestral Heritage homes still stand after more than a century, as well as, very good food trip like El Ideal for their divine crispy thin piayas, guapple pie, and more. Pahanocoy is another outskirt that’s just a 20-minute public bus ride from SM Mall to organic farm FreshStart Organic & Natural where I had exquisite culinary experience in their Lanai Restaurant, 1 of 4, in its organic grounds. The owners & staff even made the time to welcome and visit with me and share their passion of sustainable organic farm to table dining experiences!!!! Likewise, they are spearheading reintroducing only the elite, 400 years ago could afford & taste, the most expensive Criollo Cacao in the world and have won golds in all it’s completions, locally n abroad as far as Paris, France, today!!!

As with all of the Philippines there are annoying minor charges (take a motorcycle on a ferry and find out) and corruption . So far nothing unusual. Rizal boardwalk offers light entertainment. Oh, don’t expect much from the tourist office. They are not much help.information of an exact nature is very hard to come by. The town is passable.

Outside resort very run down and poor not like Ayala area Mainly for Koreans as 90% of food outlets cater To visit main seaside mall upwards of 700peso each way Can be difficult getting transport back
