Staff was very nice and helpful. Villa itself was cozy. View from the garden was gorgeous, we could see some waterfalls. Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious.

What a beautiful and clean place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by the family and truly felt right at home. They are incredibly hospitable and happy to help if needed. We had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed. A special thanks as well to your lovely daughter for the beautiful drawing of the boat — we’re definitely taking it back with us to the Netherlands!

Very nice, quiet, comfortable and large apartment a few meters from the airport runway. The owner, Fabio, prepared nice invitation for us. Highly recommend.

Nice house with lovely view, it has everything you need and even more - such as board games and smart tv. The host is nice and helpful. Everything is new and clean.
Cedros itself is also nice - located in the middle between ponta delgada and santa cruz - you can walk in both directions - cant decide which hike is better.
I added some pictures with walking distance.
You cant expect to have shop in here, but the more magical this place is.

Nice and cosy place, nicely decorated and wellcoming. It had all the things one might need while travelling and more, even water bottles, shopping bag, umbrellas… Location is in the most stunning area of the island.

Very spacious and clean, well equipped kitchen, nice surroundings and the kindest housekeeper Samuel. I highly recommend staying here, especially considering the very affordable pricing conpared to other offerings on Flores.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights here. The instruction on how to get to the accommodation was very clear. Nuno is a great host who also gave us secret tips on the island. We also talked to him personally about how the island life really is.
The apartment has a functional kitchen with a fridge, washmaschine, gas cooker and the also an air fryer. Somewhere in the neighborhood there is also a cat who also visited us regularly. We gave her the name Hector.
The island Flores it’s quite expensive since everything has to be imported.
We are glad that we could spend our time here. 4 nights is enough to see the waterfalls and do some hikes. We are quite active but we didn’t manage to see everything. If you have time, we also recommend to see the island Corvo.

We loved absolutely everything! The room was fabulously arranged and we appreciated the effort the owner put in to reuse wood throughout for furnishing the room. It was so nice to have a kettle instead of an espresso pod machine which allowed us to fill our own Thermos to take with us on hikes. The internet died was great and best of all the delightful snack and drinks on arrival made it our most memorable experience in the Azores. Instructions were excellent to get to the location and we changed our plans and rented a car which we were very glad we did in the end!

That the owner greeted us in person and informed us about all the sightseeing of the island, the best roads and roads to avoid, updated us on the local forecast and gave us advice about restaurants. There were no specific rules. 24/24h services if needed since he and his family lived very closely. Ricardo also offered us a lift home from the village one of the evenings.
Probably the best location on Flores. Trails are easily accessible and close to main viewpoints. Views of ocean and waterfalls cant be beat. The house (mill) is very spacious and perfect for a stay where you can feel a little lost in time :-) Hosts were very accommodating with my flight delays which required adjusting booking dates!

The people were very welcoming.
The people were very welcoming. This is probably the prettiest place we have been. This is a great island for hiking and enjoying nature. Meal options are limited but good, hearty food. If we had it to do over again we would probably go in the Spring when the flowers were in bloom.

A magical village with kind helpful people.
A magical village with kind helpful people. The village is like something out of a fairytale, perfect scenery, with beautiful well kept livestock, has such a nostalgic feel. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty, we also stayed in Sao Miguel (5 star hotel) but the food here was of a way better standard! Be carful when driving at night, ensure you have an offline map as signal is weak down some winding country lanes- we got quite lost and roads are very steep.

The village is small and on Sundays there’s only two restaurants open (low season). Weather is unpredictable and not so warm (18°C). Our host Ricardo recommends coming here in September when it’s still warm and the sea is about 25°C. We saw a lot of trekkers everywhere. On Flores you definitely would need a car. Close to the village iate a couple of stunning waterfalls.

I liked that it was near the famous sites and in a quiet area. It is an old house so I found it very cold and it also had a musky smell. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to stay warm. The shower was plenty hot and there were long soft towels to dry off. I had problems with the lock box not working easily. I was disappointed that there were no stores or a bakery as it’s a very small village. Buy what you need in Santa Cruz. The island is gorgeous and this side has so many waterfalls to enjoy.

From the waterfalls in the west, to the lovely walkable city of Santa Cruz in the east, Flores is a delight. Get your hiking boots ready as there are many beautiful trails to check out on this island, but plan on a few days as the weather can be unpredictable and it would be a pity not to see Flores in full sunshine.

Absolutely stunning island.
Absolutely stunning island. The natural beauty left me in awe many times. I hope this natural landscape is protected. The whale museum was very educational and worth the visit. Although I think they should charge more than one Euro for entrance. It was easy to get around with our small rental car.

Island is just amazing, lots of scenic views and full of waterfalls. People in Flores are the kindest I've met in my travels and food's quality is what you would expect from a typical Portuguese village.

It is really a paradise.
It is really a paradise. On one hand I want to share my joy from getting to see it, on the other it needs to stay pure and forgotten by the masses. When flying there, our plane had to turn back because of a technical issue, as if I was asked if I really mean it. If you love and respect nature, go for it!

Very cool, old town.
Very cool, old town. Feels like you've stepped back in time a couple centuries. A couple local restaurants that have awesome food, with less than awesome service, when they happen to be open. Don't trust online hours, they're often incorrect. Reservations are a must as everything in town books up quickly and has incredibly limited availability. Come for the breath taking beauty, not anything else. From our experience, definitely the best place to stay on Flores island for access to the highlights of the island.
