- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 21 reviewsWe liked the location very much: a quiet pedestrian street in an old part of Lisbon. Still a residential area despite some tourist accommodation. Lots of small cafes very close by, some traditional, some trendy. You'll be close to the Puppet Museum and a 10m walk away from the excellent Museu de Arte Antinguo, where there's a beautiful riverside garden and cafe. It's a 15 to 20 minutes walk in the other direction to the central Praca do Commercio. If you don't like walking, catch a tram or an Uber. Inside, the studio apartment is a bright, well designed space on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped and we very much appreciated the washing machine. Shower gel, cleaning products etc all provided, which made for an easy stay. There's a spacious cupboard which is big enough for those of us who don't travel light! We would certainly come back to this apartment if it was available. We come to Lisbon a lot and this was one of the best apartments we've found for price and location.Guest review byBelindaUnited Kingdom
- From US$496.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 798 reviewsWonderful Stay Experience I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the brilliant breakfast and the exceptional service from all the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience. We enjoyed everything about our stay, although we did notice that the indoor pool is only accessible to kids from 9:00-11:00 and 15:00-19:00. Aside from that, everything was fantastic! The reception team was incredibly welcoming, and the manager was outstanding as well. Overall, I give a heartfelt 10/10 to the entire team for their excellent service. Thank you for making our stay memorable!Guest review byDevairUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 912 reviewsMood hotel is a fun experience - the whole design gives a feeling of a secret, sexy getaway: private garage parking, room service through anonymous service doors, the decor and jacuzzi bath, etc. The location was close enough to Lisbon to make it easy to go back and forth, but far from the hustle of the city, and great value for moneyGuest review byRobinetteUnited States

A good destination for a city break.
A good destination for a city break. Hilly though so it can take a while to get around. Very busy, too much traffic. Noticed a lot of homeless people on the street though I guess this can be said of most cities. Some areas quite attractive, but generally not as picturesque as I expected. Good transport options. Would definitely recommend taking the train to Belem (outer suburb of Lisbon) and to Cascais, an upmarket resort along the coast.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The biggest disappointment was purchasing an all day pass for two to ride the buses. We were out waiting for the bus early to get to our scheduled time at Pena and two buses stopped but would not make room for just the two of us to get on (no one else was at the stop). It was raining and we ended up having to hike up to Pena in a hurry to get to our time slot. I am still trying to get my purchase refunded as we were never able to ride the bus.Guest review byDaryl and SusanUnited States - 10.0

Setubal is absolutely fabulous and I am so glad I decided to extend my trip at the last minute and add Setubal. It has a great vibe. Lovely cobblestone streets and colorful buildings. Shops and restaurants on every street. There's the water and beachfront. There are lots of lovely green spaces, parks and playgrounds and gardens. It really has everything and it feels very authentic. I loved it and would happily go back!Guest review byHeatherIreland - 10.0

not so big town, with great and wide sandy beaches, good choice of restaurants and bars for all tastes. i was staying here in September, so it was not very crowded. whether you enjoy relaxing on the beach, or long walks along the beach - this place is perfect. in addition you can take public transport from here to nearby places - it is convenient and reliable way of getting to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais etc.Guest review byemolendaPoland - 10.0

Sesimbra is a hidden gem on Portugal’s coast -peaceful, charming, and full of natural beauty. The beaches are pristine, with golden sand and crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming or relaxing. The town offers delicious seafood, friendly locals, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. Whether you're hiking in the nearby Arrábida mountains, exploring the historic castle, or enjoying fresh fish by the sea, Sesimbra has something for everyone. It's a perfect escape from the crowds - authentic, scenic, and unforgettable.Guest review byRita AmzalakUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want...
Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable. Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy. For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Montijo is a hidden gem that beautifully blends traditional charm with modern amenities. Nestled close to Lisbon yet far enough to offer a serene escape, this town captivates with its rich history, friendly locals, and stunning natural landscapes. The quaint streets, vibrant markets, and delicious local cuisine provide an authentic taste of Portuguese culture. Its proximity to the Tagus River offers picturesque views and opportunities for leisurely walks or boat rides. Montijo is also a gateway to beautiful farm stays, where you can experience the peaceful countryside and savor fresh, local produce. The town's relaxed pace and welcoming vibe make it perfect for unwinding, while its convenient location allows easy exploration of nearby attractions. Whether you’re seeking tranquility, cultural immersion, or a base for day trips, Montijo delivers an unforgettable experience. A true Portuguese treasure that leaves you wanting to return!Guest review byManishPortugal
