We stayed in the ground floor flat.
Bedroom with comfortable large bed, surrounded by mosquito netting. Air-conditioned and with a ceiling fan distributing this air throughout the room.
The bathroom, finished in marble, elegant and spacious. Great large walk-in shower, strong water pressure, all neat....
The kitchen adjoined a terrace with a view of the sea. Equipped, with all the necessary appliances: large fridge with freezer, toaster, induction hob, coffee machine, toaster. Full range of kitchen utensils....
The terrace, where we spent relaxing moments looking at the sea and listening to its soothing sounds....
The property is separated from the small beach by a local street, but this is really no inconvenience as traffic is negligible and unobtrusive.
The owner who manages the property is contactable, very friendly and helpful. She did not impose and at the same time was supportive if we needed anything.
We were sceptical whether to order meals at the property, but the grilled tuna dinner was really excellent. Delicious food, 'homemade' recipe - a really pleasant surprise.
We were motorised, so getting around the island was not a problem. There is a bus stop next to the property, but we did not test this form of transport.
It is literally a 5 minute drive by car to Ferdinand Park.
There is a small shop nearby, for a coffee or for larger purchases you have to drive further which is 10 min....
In summary: a super place for a relaxing stay on Praslin if you prefer the sound of the sea and a comfortable stay and a friendly and hospitable atmosphere to the noise of the town and the larger human concentrations on this already small island.
Definitely recommended.

Hotel reception exactly fulfilled our wishes about the room type and even has given us the possibility to check in one hour earlier and check-out one hour later - according to our Ferry timing - thank you for that !
Very nice room decoration upon arrival and for birthday of my wife. Also nice birthday arrangement during the dinner time.
Nice dining area deep in tropical vegetation, on Thursday evening there was a nice life music.
Buffet breakfast and buffet dinner with variating fine meal selection.
Perfect sleeping comfort, thick and comfortable mattress. We had our room in the New Eco Wing, quite far from Beach Cafe les Arts with evening music. Evening Music in Cafe les Arts takes place every Wednezday, Saturday and Monday. To our perception it was not loud, so even having the room at the New Ocean Wing Building which is the closest to the beach should not be a problem. It is recommendable to have a half board at the hotel, because there are not many good options to eat outside.
Les Lauriers in the village also have very nice dining area, if anybody prefers take-away-food there is also ATM-Nuovobanq and Take-away place ~5-7 walking minutes away. In Seychelles they always have the sunset at ~18:00, and there are not many options what to do after this time.
Perfect excursion options are Vallee-de-Mai (~30€ one way with taxi) or the phantastic Beach of Anse-Lazio (~20 Minutes with Taxi - would never recommend to take a bus there).
We did not see any insects or mosquitos on Seychelles, never used the spray.
Price for small water or beer during the dinner: 4-5€. Cheapest bottle of wine: ~20€.
2 beach towels free of charge per room per day, sunbeds and fix umbrellas on the beach free of charge if you get one.
On Seychelles nobody is using the private beach umbrellas.

GreeceDuring our trip in Seychelles, we stayed in 4 different hotels. Palm Beach Hotel was by far the best.
Not only it was affordable, comparing to the rest in Praslin, but the rooms were also clean and had a very nice view of the sea.
In addition, the breakfast and especially the dinner were very delicious. For breakfast, every day we had fresh fruit and omelette, among other things, while for dinner, we had octopus with coconut sauce and a parrot fish..so good!
On top of all this, Natasha, with her team in the hotel, provided the most exquisite service and were readily available to respond to any of our questions! They provided from the moment we got there some very good tips for the island and the must-see places.
I had also forgotten my eyeglasses in the hotel, and Natasha came until the port to hand them over. This was really kind, and I have never experienced anything similar before.
I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and exceptional service.

Just entering the hotel there is a magnificient garden. The staff are very kind and helpful, they allowed us to have an early check-in, helped us with some visits and give good recommendations. The hotel is going to be refurbished next year as it will have 25 years, and even though it is very well maintained and it doesn't look much old. It was very clean and smell nicely. The best is the calmness of the place. You can hear a little bit the ocean but mostly only birds. Having breakfast in the veranda rounded by birds, facing the nice garden, is very nice. The beach, except for the sting rays that you get scared entering to the water, is really nice. For me on of the best I have seen in Seychelles, with its white sand, without coral, very large so you can have nice walks, and the water is quite shallow. Also, you have sunbeds in the shadow of some trees. I am very happy with the election of this vila and I would recommend to anybody going to Seychelles.

From the moment I arrived until the day I (sadly) left, everything was amazing. The staff went above and beyond, booking a rental car for me, preparing breakfast earlier than usual, and keeping the apartment spotless.
The location is peaceful, just steps from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartments are incredibly spacious, and the outdoor terrace, filled with birdsong, is a lovely place to relax. There's also ample parking for all guests.
The staff's friendliness is truly next level. While the facilities may not be brand new, my stay was far more comfortable than I expected.
Yes, some guests mention that breakfast is the same every day, but you’re on holiday! It was always fresh, and for anyone wanting variety, there's a large kitchen to cook whatever you like.
Next time I’m in Praslin, it’s definitely Ocean Jewels again for me! 🤍

Very well kept property, all clean with beautiful garden full of tropical birds. Very much like paradise. The rooms are renovated, in colonial style, so you feel like a royal.
That was also supported by the amazing staff, with special shout out to Muhammad Bilal. He managed all my wishes, I basically told him what I had in mind and ten minutes later he had it organized (taxis, diving trips…) Also Cynthia was very Kind, and the whole staff really.
They made it impossible to not have a good time. Ten out of ten, would go there again in a heartbeat.

Apartment is cozy and big, especially for two people. The furniture is older, but we knew that when we booked from seeing the pictures, so we knew what to expect. The owner is a really nice and friendly lady. The neighbours offer a daytrip to Curieuse island with a discount and you start your trip right in front of the house, which is perfect and the trip was really great. The bus station is also 50meters away, which is great for exploring the island. Everything else you need (supermarket, restaurants) is in a walking distance.

We travelled as a couple and loved our stay at Hotel L'Archipel. The hotel is clean, modern, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The pool is great and we could always get a sun lounger. The beach is also practically private and there are free watersports (kayaking and paddle boarding) available from the hotel. There are some good snorkeling spots too - we saw a turtle, couple of baby sharks and a stingray! Best experience of seeing these animals and free!

We stayed in Beach front suite on the 1st floor, and we loved it ! Amazing sea view.Apartment is well equipped. Large leaving room with kitchen and terrace.Big bedroom with aircon.
Great location, just 5 minutes from the airport .Bus stop and shop just in front of the Villa.
There are plenty of restaurants around and beach bars.
Samiah is a great host.Check and check out went smoothly. She gave us a lot of informations about where to eat,what to see,etc.

Baie Ste Anne is a lovely place to stay, accessible to Ande Lazio beach, the. Est in the world and the Valle de Mai( the only one in the world). Only 15 minutes to Ladigue with it's lovely granitic stones and clear blue beaches!!

Staff were lovely, extremely polite and attentive. Always went out of their way to ensure you were comfortable and looked after. Pools were lovely and peaceful. Beach was beautiful. Anse Georgette well worth the visit, and had a brilliant little cocktail/drinks stand. Walkable but you get very hot on the way! Otherwise can organise a buggy to take you.

must visit La digue and explore the various beaches of the island on bike.
Vegetarian food is a little difficult. we couldn't find nice cafes which had eggless options.

Grand Anse itself does not deserve a long time, being a beach, that's it, depending of course, on what you expect to do.
Praslin itself is not very interesting compared to Mahe or even, La Digue.
Praslin is good for few days, and the most interesting is on the other side, East Coast, since Grand Anse is on the West one.

It's a very picturesque small village. We didn't see much of it, unfortunately. It rained a lot, which kept us indoors. Curieuse Island is exceptional. It's a must-see. However, be aware: the snorkeling part is rather disappointing. If you have your own gear, bring it. The equipment provided locally was quite basic and of poor quality. Gerry, a local taxi driver, is outstanding; if you ever get the chance to explore the island with him.
You really need to choose the right time of year. The Seychelles lose some of their charm in the rain.
Moreover, the biggest challenge remains the cost of everything.

The beach is picture-perfect and not very crowded, with transparent, incredibly coloured water and thin golden sand. There are many trees and also beach chairs. The food and beverage service provided by Le Chevalier Guesthouse is excellent.

My review is for Anse Lazio..Everyone says you have to go there..we took a bus there..Luckily at the bottom at the bus stop at Villa Minoir a young gentleman gave us a lift to the beach..in the heat,with no taxi or bus going up to the beach would have exhausted us ..we met an elderly couple who we took with us..it would have been impossible to get there,in the heat,and we would have been exhausted..so to hire a car in praslin is not a bad idea..Coming back,we were told to ask the gentleman at the gift shop to taxi us to the bus stop..he however refused..not sure why..maybe he was exhausted in the heat..3 lovely ladies from Seychelles were kind enough to take us to the Bus stop..when we reached it..The bus just left..They kindly dropped us at our Hotel..Their kindness will forever be remembered

Rino at welcoming center has really made our vacation feel like home. His warm welcoming at phone even before we arrive and his care during our stay made our visit unforgettable. Fauziah, who is our customer consultant was such a nice lady. She was always contact with us during our stay and checked constantly if everything was ok with us. Hotel was extremely clean and amenities are very well thought. Our room was just mind blowing. We stayed at Room 61 and it was just 32 steps from our room to the beach. Anse Kerlan Beach has very rich and living undersea life with lots of live-corals and fishes, so I suggest you really mind not to use that one in order not to damage corals. Water is shallow and it is quite risky to swim there. There are also sea turtles nests on this beach signed with warnings, so please be careful where you walking on. Remember that having small precautions at your side will create a huge impact in general in sea life and eco-system in a long run :-) Instead Petite Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette Beaches were extremely beautiful and very safe beaches for swimming. Just take your eyes on your children, cos of some wild waves. If you bring sea shoes with you, they would be very useful for whole trip in Seychelles. Our room was very spacious and cleaned 2 times a day. Kudos to house-keepers and a big thank.

Very nice beach when it’s high tide.
Very nice beach when it’s high tide. The water is warmer and calmer than in other sides of the island , although there is good amount of seaweeds. Snorkelling is average comparing to other beaches. Beautiful sunsets though!

I liked staying at Grand Anse, it has a sense of a small community but not a noisy one. One has to take either a rent a car or a bus. We rented a car for one day only, enough to see the island, and we took one bus ride No 61 around the island. Bus ride should be a must for everyone. Excellent experienced driver but the ride is not for lighthearted.
