SerbiaWe spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel with our baby. The nature surrounding the hotel is incredibly beautiful, and the air is crystal clear. The staff is very kind – the girl at the reception even stayed longer just to welcome us, as we were arriving late at night and the roads are a bit challenging to drive, so we were delayed. The beds are so comfortable that we all slept like babies.
The hotel is perfect for a peaceful nature getaway, and we would happily return whenever we get the chance.

- Sonja was extremely helpful and kind, such a great host.
- Super tasty breakfast with locally produced break, honey and jam.
- Clean, comfortable room in a location surrounded by mountains. Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank.

This charming guest house is situated in the most spectacular spot in the valley. Our hostess, Barbara, was very welcoming and we were upgraded to the suite on the top floor which was very spacious with a living room and a separate bedroom on a mezzanine. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in our 2 month journey around Europe.
The breakfast which cost 12 euro pp was excellent and well worth the money, and we ended up having dinner in the restaurant both nights as the food was very, very good, the wine and beer list extensive and there was a choice of menu of the day or al a carte, both good value.

Nicely furnished, very rural charme yet comfortable and practical - ideal for getting away from offices and TV's and computers and mobile phones. The host was kind, the house is located in a quiet area, it has own parking spots, and there is a lot to explore nearby on foot. Also a shop and a few cafes and a restaurant is only a few minutes of walk away.

Its location is ideal:: close to a settlement and to major sights, but out in the nature. The owners are very nice and helpful. The food is delicious and substential, with a lot of local and homemade products.

Nice, clean apartment in a good location for hiking to Robanov Kot or nearby hills and not far away from Logarska dolina. Do not choose this apartment if you cannot live without wi-fi or LTE signal😁.

Great walks up the three valleys that are close bye. We had coffee in the information centre in Solcava - staff were excellent. Did the scenic road looking down over the valleys - well worth the drive up and down.

The area is beautiful and hiking and biking is great. The grocery stores are severly lacking on fresh proteins. We cook alot and didn't like having to purchase plastic coated packaged meats. A decent butcher and pharmacy were at least 30 minutes away.

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. A bike or electric bike that can be rented is the most convenient means of transportation here.

Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.
