Literally a hole in the wall, in a good way, get away from cars, traffic jams, non-stop modern life. The best place to get a rest from busy everyday life. You definitely need a car there to get to Poprad or Revuca for grocery or restaurants. Really loved this place, 8 nights, would stay there for another 8 nights. Dedinky is a very nice and calm town at the foot of the hills of the Slovak paradise. The lake is great for swimming (though the water is cold) or for renting a boat and exploring the lake a little. Dedinky is on the south side of Slovak Paradise National...
Dedinky is on the south side of Slovak Paradise National Park. It has a "bite-sized" hike that takes about two hours (or three hours for an extended version). The hike includes metal ladders and metal platforms through the gorge. (Longer more adventurous hikes can be found to the north of the national park). This is the kind of place to stay if you come for scenery...
This is the kind of place to stay if you come for scenery and happy to make your own plans. The scenery is exceptional. You can walk/hike; climb; paddle board, take a scenic train ride, visit ice cave without needing a car really.
