Brand new boutique hotel that will certainly become the reference of hospitality locally : stunning view and access to the lagune and the ocean, spacious room with high quality materials, gastronomique food and the quality of services. Everything can be done a la carte. One can hear the ocean at night and sleep well. Spent 3 days in this amazing place and feel resourced as if I stayed one week. A big thank you to the hosts.

A beautiful setting. Situated on a beach. Falling asleep to the powerful rhythm of ocean waves was majestic. I stayed here for one night - to be closer to the airport (DSS) - and I didn't want to leave. The staff are truly wonderful - including Ousmane and the two women who carried my heavy suitcase upon my departure. The local taxi service is reliable. Having been pre-booked, twice they showed up on time (once in the early hours) for transit to the airport. (Twice because my party had two flights to different destinations.) I'll never forget this place.

The place is fantastic! We arrived at 2am and staff at reception (Gabriel) realy made our stay perfect as he arranged our rooms to be next to eachother. Everything from there was great ... spaceous room, comfortable bed, the food, the pool, the beach, the see ... Absolutely recommend!

Quiet and cozy hotel located by the beach.The food is simply great and all the staff is lovely and careful. The rooms have a king size bed very comfortable and a nice bathroom with a shower. It is about 30min distance by car from Saly. Perfect choice!

    Very nearby Saly.

    Very nearby Saly. Saly has a lot to offer concerning bars and restaurants. Mbour is more quiet. The beach is during the day not crowded, you can walk on the beach. In the evening around 5-6pm there is a lot of young crowed playing on the beach, swimming.

    The facility (hotel) fully satisfied our expectations. Very well-working staff from all departments!!! Both the beach, swimming pools and the area around the hotel are attractive to guests. The towns near the hotel (town and villages) "tourist-friendly" with a specific atmosphere. What is very important, in such places "we feel safe there"!!!

    Lovely place with a beautiful beach! Has all the facilities you need for a small town! We didn’t venture anywhere else expect the beach and high street but that’s all you need in a small town by the beach.

    I'm a business owner; I know keeping up with a demanding...

    I'm a business owner; I know keeping up with a demanding career like hospitality isn't for the negligent. People pay attention to details—rooms are clean. I tried the local dish, Thieboudienne (a bit like the Jollof rice), and they made it so well. Modou, the driver, is very kind-hearted and available when you need him(his vehicle is neat, too 😀). The DSS Airport is in a developing outskirts and if you want a place close by, considering that it is not downtown Dakar, the place is cool! Overall, I think the crew at Poponguine is passionate about what they do, and it's obvious.

    Wi-fi did not work in the rooms but did work in the courtyard albeit a bit slow. There are restaurants - you can eat at the hotel, one is nearby towards the main road and some local no frills places on the main road. It is easy to find a taxi on the main road. It is a not too far walk to go to Fadiouth Island

    Unprofessional and having no knowledge of hospitality. WiFi is very weak and cleanliness isn't up to standard. I dnt blv the other reviews are legit The attitude of the young man who was helping me is unacceptable. If you don't understand French, don't attempt going there unless u wana test your adrenaline. Thanks to Google translator, I managed to express myself.

    If you look foreign, they will try to charge you 5000cfa just to walk across the bridge to fadiout island. If you look Senegalese, you can walk across for free. We didn't bother to cross as the the price was too high and the men were pushy. Found a nice restaurant with a great view on the mainland side of the bridge. Taverna des pêcheurs
