The bungalow style room was super cute, I liked that he had like a separate area like a garden but it was actually enclosed The staff are super kind, we were scared of a spider in our room (even if it was not dangerous at all) and they kindly moved us to another room after trying to catch him

    this is the resort that you hope to find, and here it is, real and top quality. this hotel is in a green and quite area of a small town, and has a beautiful large garden with lakes, plants, flowers all around. at sunset you may think to be in africa... super large room excellent breakfast excellent hosts

    Phayao itself is quite small and can easily be visited in one day but I think the surrounding area has much more to offer. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer to explore the natural parks and cafes nearby

    Nice little town with good access on a lovely lake with mountains on the other side. Awesome sunsets. Some great temples. A vibrant night market and some cool bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit.

    The view over the lake is very pleasant.

    The view over the lake is very pleasant. If you are riding here by motorcyle from Chiangmai, the road is excellent, with a good surface and magnificent bends. It’s a very pleasant ride. The area is one I will come back to explore more. At night there are a lot of nice places to eat along the main streets. Thinks seem to close down by 8pm, but I may be wrong.
