We loved our stay here. First of all the beauty and colours in this historical hotel that is decorated with such taste and artistry. The service is excellent and each member of staff is very helpful, gentle and friendly. We loved the coffee, teas and sweet pastries in the morning. It was generous. And a very central location. In the mide of the action. Also we organised our ferry trip with the hotel. Very helpful!.

I recently stayed at a this fantastic hotel and had an incredible experience. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and exceptionally well-equipped. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable—special thanks to Nune, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. The pool and amenities were excellent, and while the gym was on the smaller side, it was well-equipped and met all my needs. The hotel also offers great parking facilities, which added to the convenience. Its location is good, with a 7-Eleven, numerous restaurants, and massage parlors just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay

Modern new build hotel, very clean and well finished. The staff were excellent. I only stayed for one night, it was probably the best hotel I stayed at on this trip. AS the hotel was quieter during low season I got early checkin and late checkout free of charge. The hotel is a short few minutes walk to the busy beach bar area. If I was staying for a few more days, I would have had a few treatments in the clinic.

Idyllic Island of International Fame

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket has a mountainous landscape leading down to lush, green palms, warm, turquoise seas and soft, golden sands. Patong is its most developed resort and is well known for outrageous nightlife. There are lots of clubs, bars and restaurants in the main town and it also has a fantastic beach lined with hotels and resorts.

To the south is Karon, home to the 2nd largest beach and offshore coral reefs that are good for snorkelling. Quieter Kamala also has coral reefs and good surfing conditions, as do the curved beaches at Kata.

The island’s airport is in the north and there are lots of Phuket hotels near the airport in Mai Khao and Nai Yang, where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. In Bangtao to the south there is a great range of Phuket hotels with private pools on Booking.com, while around the corner in exclusive Surin there are often typical Thai long boats bobbing up and down in the rolling waves.

On the other side of the island Chalong has an impressive Buddhist temple and is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Neighbouring Panwa has shallow water coral and the Phuket Aquarium to explore. The Phi Phi islands are off Phuket’s eastern shores and their idyllic scenery makes wonderful day trips.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade to 2 bedroom suite at a discount with direct pool access away from the crowds near to Bodega restaurant. It is a quiet area great for the elderly. The buggy service was responsive. We were worried about mosquitoes because of the lakes but this issue was less than expected. The breakfast at Bogeda is much less hectic and a lot quieter than Market Place, and the food presentation appears better. Later realized that it is only for guests who are booked in certain rooms. The beach is long and the sand is very fine without broken or significant washed up debris, which afflict many beaches elsewhere. The waves can be strong though. The suite was clean, large and very convenient located with a separate dining and living room . It has a fairly large balcony directly accessing the pool. We found that we didn't need to venture out of the resort. The complimentary boat and kayak facility allowed for connection to other lakes and resorts. The entire complex of lakes and resorts makes this place much large than it appears. There is a free shuttle service to nearby shopping areas and shops

Amazing place with great facilities, stylish designer rooms. Staff attentive to details and very helpful. Resort is full of small details that make the stay special - fruits in the room, complimentary small refreshers served at the swimming pool area periodically, impeccable cleanliness. Alessandro was of great hospitality, took us to the swimming pool area and offered drinks while we were waiting for the check-in - great touch and amazing service. Overall - kudos to the Team, I am looking forward to be back. Don’t even mention how beautiful the site is.

I think it was my third time visiting this hotel for the past 10 years, and I have always enjoyed my stay here so far. I believe that Banyan Tree is one of the best hotels to stay while you are visiting Phuket, as it provides you with everything you need - a range of good restaurants, fine in-room dining, leisure facilities, etc. The hotel’s staff is also extremely polite and helpful.

Amazing, everyone is friendly and some sport dancing...

Amazing, everyone is friendly and some sport dancing activities during the night time for those who are into fitness like me as you can always join their cession and have some good sport dance ,easy to get around because of the many activities around, variety of things to do around and at anytime 😊!

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and...

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and seconds from great shops, coffee bars and a vast range of venues. It is an excellent value place to stay if you want to be in the centre. The old town is great for the Sunday walking street and has everything to offer. A selection of different music artists, brilliant choice of street food and lots to spend your money on. Thoroughly recommend.

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life,

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

Karon Beach is very crowded and not as clean as you might expect for a tropical paradise. There are a lot of people, and many vendors approach you offering jewelry, massages, and other services. If you enjoy being in a lively, busy atmosphere with lots of people around, it’s fine. But if you prefer calm, quiet water and space to relax without crowds, this is not the best beach for that. Overall, it’s okay but very crowded, and the experience depends on what you’re looking for.

Quiet beach where you can take boat trips and go horseback riding. Close to restaurants, cafes, cheap clothing stalls, massage and a couple of 7/11's. Great area if you want to have a quiet escape with a book or just "me" time. No malls, no hustle & bustle, no hard sell. A stunning sun-set!

Kamala Beach is absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It can get a bit busy, so I recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated because it gets very hot during the day. Overall, a great beach experience!

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

Friendly Thai people, peaceful environment, and a great location near the new township and Nai Harn Beach—much nicer than the usual Patong area. Plenty of halal food and convenience stores nearby. A perfect healing spot.

It was a very refreshing stay in the property which was full of greenery and good views of beach from the huge balcony attached to the suite. Did not want to leave the property so early and definitely want to come back again.

Recommendation for restaurants = "My Front Yard" is a new location with several different types of restaurants. Ate at three of them and the food and service was excellent. Recommend "Home Sweet Home" as the close by go to coffee shop.
