We thought the location was perfect for strolling around the city, discovering cafes, spas, shops, bars, resturants, temples and the night market. Despite its excellent location it was on a quiet street where we slept very well.The staff were amazing! We also really liked the decor and the breakfast.

The staff was excellent, very attentive, friendly and helpful, made me feel at home.i would especially mention Luna , Mo ,Milk, and Santi..Though, I m a very difficult person concerning food, I found the hotel had an superb restaurant. The breakfast was exceptionally good, fine dining, which finally lead me to not going anywhere else to eat. The staff too were very careful to make sure you enjoyed your meal. Therefore, a special mention for the chef.In one word. Exceptional*. I very easily recommend this hotel, it's classy, clean and tailored to all your comforts.

The hotel decor was really cool, especially the downstairs breakfast area. The included breakfast was excellent every day! The staff was attentive, and always kind/smiling! The manager agreed to us checking out a bit late on our last of 7 nights because our flight didn't leave until late. We were able to walk to many, many places from our hotel easily. It was 107F some days we were there, and the AC in our hotel still worked fine. Really liked this place a lot - great value for the money, for sure, and a place we'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing hotel's lead guy with a permanent smile :D Lovely room, very tasty breakfasts. High quality of cleaning services. Perfect location in the centre of Vientiane. Nice shops Jiffy and restaurants around. 1 hour walk from the airport. Very good facilities in the room like free brushes or coffee & water. Swimming pool included. Perfect stay - recommend to everyone :)

The hotel, once big, modern, well-equipped and expensive, is still big and not that cheap. There were enough facilities for me, however. And the staff is perfectly trained, which makes every small talk a pleasure. The breakfast is plentiful, with made-to-order soup, and tasty. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Vientiane is a good place to have a night in between...

Vientiane is a good place to have a night in between travelling via the trains. Sticky fingers is a nice cafe to eat and you can get around easily on tuktuks there. Recommend only a day as Luang Prabang is amazing and you won't want to leave.

Wonderful area to explore, many Temples, Patuxay Victory Monument is not far away and great at sunset to early evening when water fountain puts on a great light show. Riverfront night markets fun park plenty of choices for food.

Living in Udon Thani place makes for an easy trip to Laos to feed my gambling bug. Bit far from Downtown Vientiane, but there are numerous transportation options to get in to town from the border/hotel. * No fine dining places near-by, thus the need to travel in to Vientiane.

Nice and clean.

Nice and clean. Local Food at the night markets along the Mekong is relatively expensive. I suppose we were at the tourists food stalls. As for the tok tok, whilst there are prices printed on a laminated A4 it appeared high and open to negotiations. Can Laos tourist authorities ensure fixed reasonable prices. Bus fares are very reasonable and affordable. However there appeared a big discrepancy for bus fare from Vienteine Bus station to Friendship bridge (longer journey and inexpensive) compared to Bus service crossing the bridge which is so much shorter journey but so much higher in fares.

Sleepy small town by the river, relaxing if you come from a large city like BKK or VTE. Rent a bike and take a tour along the river. Don’t forget to visit the spectacular Buddha park (sister to the Vientiane version). It is a good stop to relax a few days on your way to / from Laos.

30 years ago I was last time im Vientiane.

30 years ago I was last time im Vientiane. In the meantime it has become a monster of roads, concrete and glass -fronts, just like Bangkok it has now emerged into a meaningless Chinese city.: Asians want to be Europeans who came down from Tibet many years back.

It was bigger than I thought it was.

It was bigger than I thought it was. Many temples further up in the mountains were definitely places to add to your list. I loved the views from the Mekong across to Laos, the markets in the town by the river, the night market by the station and of course all the temples were great to visit. I stayed at the Park and Pool resort which had great service, rooms and a nice pool.
