Terrific hotel. Everything still feels new and is very clean. The room was large and comfortable, and the wifi worked well. The staff were helpful and organised an early morning taxi for me to the airport which arrived punctually. It's in a central location in town, so convenient for getting everywhere. I'd happily stay here again.

We were staying at the hotel the 2nd week of December. It was well attended but not overly busy. The temperature was around 23-26 °C. Just perfect. The hotel is nice and clean; the staff was really helpful and polite. The food was delicious and plenty. Our room was spacious, clean, well stocked with coffee and tea. Every morning, the bottled water has been stocked up. There is a general shop on site with touristy stuff and basic toiletries, clothing's; postcards and stamps; The bar is open all day. There is room service available too. The pool water was clean and tidy all around. The hotel is right on the beach, with someone checking that only hotel guests use the deck chairs, as the beach is accessible by all. (Not through the hotel, though) There are cute cats everywhere. We've had a small pool outside of our room. There are many small pools, which neighbouring rooms can share and there is a big main pool too.

Incredible stay. Staff and owner welcomed us as family if you are djerba you NEED to stay here . Everything is new and spotless. The food is fresh with lots of choices the animators are AMAZING and have lots of activities for the kids and adults from morning to night . I promise you and your family will not be disappointed. Don’t be put off by the 3* rating as the service at this hotel is easily as good as any 5* I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we got there to the moment we left we were treated amazingly by every member of staff who couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating to our needs.     This place is a true gem. Gerard is certainly the highlight. His hospitality was ever present and he has keenly created a unique and wonderful space. Breakfasts were wonderful and unique every morning. The rooms are all surrounding a central common area with a nice pool and chairs. There are many, many places to hang out with little patios and pockets throughout the property. The room had good AC and everything we needed. Wifi quite well, with a couple hiccups. It was easy to get cabs and essentials by walking down the street. Simply outside your door you can walk around the entire Djerbahood and explore all of the art on the streets. Highly recommended.

    We really loved Maison Leila! It's a beautiful chamber's d'hôtel with swimming pool, sunbeds,... The breakfast is a small buffet with all fresh food, bread, fruits, juice,...everything you need. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Our room looked much authentic with a beautiful typical tunesian bathroom! Everything is clean.

    The hotel is not new, but is well maintained. All of the staf were hepfull and very kind. WiFi was exeptional, covering all hotel. Two great pools (inner and outside) and great beach at the end. Great food and baverage. For that location and that value of money considering the all inclusive, anything but 9 would not be appropriete.

    The graffiti art in Djerbahood is definitely worth visiting...

    The graffiti art in Djerbahood is definitely worth visiting as is the nearby ancient synagogue. Hamt soukh is interesting but beware of some of the traders as they can be so pushy and hence over priced. Dont be afraid to bargain hard. There are some amazing quiet beaches that are off the beaten track that taxis will take you too and pick up and they are so inexpensive it is cheaper than getting a hire car. We had a four hour tour with a driver for only £35. We visited during Rammadan so there were limitations of bars and restaurants but not at the hotels.

    Djerba is a beautifully, calm and relaxing island with good weather and lots of activities to enjoy. Most things are absolute value for money with food options plenty. The island is pretty easy to get around although for convenience, I’d recommend hiring a car.

    Zarzis is a typical Tunisian town. Not a tourist centre. Every thing is typical of a normal town. We went out with a driver for 2 days which was amazing, we covered over 500km. When we go again we will have more time out on the road to see more of the country. We visited a local restaurant twice for breakfast and dinner. Traditional food not tourist food. We like to eat non English dishes.

    Nice friendley neighbours and nearby shops . it was great being in an apartment so I was able to cater for myself it gave me the freedom of doing what I wanted. Taxis prices were really affordable and a local bus service was available to get around the island.
