- From US$67.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 255 reviewsWe were welcomed by Mehmet and caught a beautiful sunset on the peaceful sea as we arrived - a truly wonderful sight. Dinner was offered to us straight away - delicious mezze and fresh fish, perfectly cooked and served by smiling and attentive waiters. It was one of the best meals we have ever had and Basar offered interesting and entertaining evening conversation. The room was clean, well decorated and the bed very comfortable with views on the port. Breakfast was copious and delicious, the waiters incredibly kind and professional. Mehmet did everything he could to help us - arranging taxis at reasonable rates and organising a trip for us to Troy and booking our bus tickets for onward travel. He even gave us his personal number for if we ever needed any help on the rest of our travels in Turkey. His kindness, hospitality and attention was really appreciated. Teşekkür Ederim Mehmet! All the staff at the Assos Behram Hotel were extremely kind, hospitable and caring. We only stayed two nights at this hotel, but really felt like we had made friends. We wish that everyone could have the opportunity to experience staying in Behram Kale for its peace and beauty - and we would particularly recommend the Assos Behram Hotel. The people working there made us feel safe and happy and created genuine human connection. The Assos Behram Hotel always had a member of staff with a good level of English - something which is not guaranteed even in bigger cities. Its location is beautiful even out of season (we were there in very late November). The weather and sea were beautiful. The food extremely good. The people wonderful. Our every need was met. Thank You. Although we were 2 women travelling alone on public transport out of season from Istanbul to Behram Kale, we felt safe and the trip was seamless. Our journey from Istanbul to Behram Kale was the following: Istanbul - Cannakale (bus) Cannakale - Ayvaçik (dolmush) Ayvaçik - Behram Kale (Taxi)Guest review byAdeleUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 85 reviewsChild friendly, clean green surroundings, well maintained. Playground for the children is just a 10. The beach is just across the street with own umbrellas and sun beds. Breakfast is with a good variety. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. We didn’t try the restaurant, because we had lunch and dinner at other places but the prices are quite high (even compared with restaurants in the area).Guest review bySvetlanaBulgaria
- From US$106.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 28 reviewsAll the staff were very friendly and welcoming, offering to help (especially the boss). Assisted me to reach the Assos area by car. Great authentic meal with great view. Decent pricing. Best location for those who want to just relax in a quiet atmosphere. Hope to visit someday again for an another memory.Guest review byKyoJapan
- From US$129.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 81 reviewsThe hotel was beautiful in a gorgeous location. The restaurant was very good as well - both dinner and breakfast were excellent. But most of all being on the water in a small town was a treat. Visiting the antiquities nearby was why we came and we were thrilled by it all.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom

The ancient site of Assos, with the Athena Temple overlooking the sea and the extensive ruins of the Hellenistic/Roman city are well worth a visit. Assos itself, i.e. the fishing village, is lovely. Behramkale, about 2 miles up a narrow road from Assos (Behramkale is the entrance to the ruins) is quite a scruffy and touristy place, but has a certain atmosphere.Guest review byOrtrunUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A gorgeous, tiny place, perfect for a peaceful break from travelling and the busy sites. We ate well at a couple of the small restaurants right on the quay. We were there late in the season so it wasn't too crowded, a few people in the hotel pool and on the tiny beaches. Perfect for what we wanted after 10 days of touring.Guest review byMaryAustralia - 10.0
