Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The view on the rooftop and from the restaurant is amazing - perfect for balloon watching. Breakfast is the best I have eaten in Turkey - freshly made, diverse and tasty. Location is also a big plus.

I will definitely be back to this hotel! The rooms were nicely appointed and so comfortable. The breakfast that was included was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The entire staff was so incredibly nice and polite. They can arrange taxi's, tours, and hot air balloon rides. The terrace is perfect for watching the hot air balloons! The company they work with for the hot air balloon rides was amazing as well. Loved the taxi driver they hired for us as well - Adnan Gedik - he was amazing! Very well lit area! Felt very safe as two women traveling. It's a little further outside of town BUT it's a 20 min walk into town and that is totally doable in my opinion.

Hotel was good in interested stile, room cleaned every day. Breakfast reach. Staff very professional. We booked balloons with them ( with good price) and massage and hammam. We had some problem with sauna but they managed it. We are very happy with the employee Forgad.

The room was nice and spacious. Pool, rooftop and restaurant for breakfast was accessible. They do room service for breakfast as well (although we haven’t tried) and I like that their menu shows a variety of not just food but things you might need (electronics, clothes, etc).

Such a warm welcome, with a friendly manner... Hospitality was great , super hotel staff... Many thanks for the invaluable experience with so generous gifts and surprises to room. Fruits, wine , peanuts etc. Room was spacious and comfortable... Such a rich open buffet breakfast, hosted by 2 very nice ladies... If you would like to watch balloons from a perfect angle and so close distance that you could nearly touch them, then you should really go for this hotel...

I love this place so much, My family and I are very impressed this place. The room is spacious and clean. It's a wonderful place, There is a very beautiful viewpoint for taking picture. The location is very safe and convenient, We can walk to minimart and restaurants. The staff took care of our family very well, they were helpful and gave great advice. Considering the extremely low price, the room was exceptionally clean and well maintained! Room is very small, there's barely any space apart from the bed, cupboard, and table, but again that's the only compromise for the hotel being so affordable. Good view from the terrace too, where breakfast is served. Breakfast had most of the items that we found in the previous hotel we stayed in which was 4x more expensive.

The hotel is really museum, situated in the caves and ancient buildings. Amazing view, amazing rooms, perfect service. At the hotel they have 2 gardens, tutrttels and hot swimming pool, it is very pleasant at the cold times. You can also have breakfast at the terrace watching the baloons every morning. The staff provides you excellent service every minute. Nice restaurant.

The hotel’s location is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle, and you can even enjoy a view of hot air balloons! The hotel staff are also very attentive; they arranged fantastic hot air balloon rides and ATV desert excursions for us. The breakfast is delicious as well, and they have a beautiful restaurant!

The hotel was absolutely lovely and it was located on a hill with great panoramic views to the valley. There were many cafes and restaurants in the area. We had booked the Fairy Chimney Suite 116 which was an amazing cave room. The breakfast was good and there were many options. The staff was friendly.

Stunning, unique landscape.

Stunning, unique landscape. Easy to walk around the town - it’s relatively small with not too much traffic. There are some great walks, although you need transport to get to some of them. If you can’t afford to do the balloon flights, the next best thing is to climb the hill with the Turkish flag on it (you can’t miss it) just before sunrise and watch the balloons from there - it’s worth getting up early for. There is a small charge to climb the hill as it’s on private land.

Nice little town with loads of places to see but the theme is more or less the same, different shape stones in different places and valleys. The balloon experience, either in or off, is amazing to see.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

Tips of Goreme: - Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset. The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores. If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.
