The bell service team and front desk team were friendly and very helpful. The resort and resort facilities are very well maintained and clean. We loved the thoughtfulness around kids - starting from our room (they had bed rails and cot set up for us, a baby bath tub with body wash and kids slippers ready in the room) to the restaurants (kids cutlery and crockery very cute with clean high chairs) and then the large kids recreational centre. We had a typhoon during our trip to Kenting so the large indoor kids recreational centre was super helpful - meant we could entertain our toddler whilst being indoors for a full day. It is located right on the beach, which we made good use of in fine weather at the end of Feb. We were given an upgrade to the room, which faced the ocean. It was a massive room with high ceilings and 2 king-sized beds. Everything was high quality, and there were no issues whatsoever. Our booking included half board which gave us access to buffet dinner and breakfast - both comprehensive and diverse. I would say mid-scale for a hotel buffet. As English speaking Europeans (from Australia) we were in a very small minority, but were made to feel very welcome by the staff who did their best with limited English. Actually the beach is not always a good option for swimming (too hot during most of the day, and sometimes the waves are too strong), so the kid's pool becomes a lifesaver for parents. Staff are very polite and helpful above and beyond. The rooms are clean and large. Facilities are great. Easy to reach by local bus from neighboring Kenting , Not a lot of eating choices other than 7-11 for a cute beach town. Fun area to explore need to rent a scooter or car to see more the national park is beautiful, and a lot of nice beaches.Only downside in Kenting is night market opens around 6:00 pm and almost nothing going on during the day, so don’t expect lunch or an afternoon cocktail. Night market is loud with boom boxes at a lot of drink stands competing for business, but food is good and friendly people. Nanwan is a clean, white sand beach. The recreation area has free restroom facilities and paid showers, a few shops selling beach gear, a few surf shops, and several restaurants + bars.
