fantastic staff and location. Just 5 min walk to many famouse smll eateries and Tainan food street. also close to some key tourist attractions. we stayed for 3nites. I left behind an item and the hotel was quick to respond to my search. They found the item and confirmed with pics. delivered the item to Taipei for me. Extremely helpful and patient staff.

Spotless clean,no strange odours whatsoever, comfy mattress and pillows,solid air conditioning..Cute little foyer with free snacks in the morning. The reception staff was helpful and with good English. Location is amazing!Walking distance to all attractions in the West District, convenience store a min away, Snail Alley next door. An excellent hotel. Large comfortable room, great bathroom/shower, very quite. Very friendly and helpful staff, good choice of western and Chinese food at breakfast. Good location too, 2 min walk to the canal, and seemed a very secure and safe area.

    The city is excellent and offers a great deal of places to visit, like Hayashi Store for some amazing souvenirs, Confucius Temple to appreciate the ancient learning and culture, a lot of Museums to showcase the art and history of the city, and the fantastic night markets for local cuisine of Tainan. You can access most of these places just with a single YouBike.

    Go and see the old city at Anping - lots of interesting history, including Fort Zeelandia. Tainan is the oldest city in Taiwan so it is worth exploring. It would have been fun to hire a bicycle but we only had an evening. Next time!

    I would not recommend visiting on a Monday as most of the shops, cafes and bars were shut during the day time and also in the evening it was quite difficult to find somewhere to eat. However it is an interesting city and if you can do a sunset cruise round the canals.
