Had a great stay at the Joleen Safari Park Hotel. The Owner and staff are very professional and helpful in this new small hotel, which is well maintained and peaceful.There was always staff there 24 hours a day if you needed anything. I had some amazing local dishes for dinner but they would make what you like. The beaches are close by, beautiful, clean and empty , except for a for local fisherman. I had a few nice surf sessions and arranged though the hotel a cheap taxi and the driver was super nice and helpful who got me to all the best beaches. I stayed on for twice as long.

It was really comfortable, the rooms were pretty big and the property was so relaxing. You can enjoy the beach and the swimming pool while drinking something refreshing. The staff was really nice and big thank you to Latifah,Charming,Iren,Ritha and Victoria from the reception: they were amazing every time. Looking forward to book here again next time!

It's not my first time at Serena, but the other times I couldn't use any of the amenities. This time I used the Gym, the sauna and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this hotel, and the feeling is great. The rooms are not new, so shower and wc could be improved. But the room is huge, the service is excellent, like it is expected in a 5 starts. Small courtesy like preparing your room for the night, plenty of complementary water, very nice view to the garden and sea. The gym is excellent. Small details like having a smart TV that connects to our phone are also a plus. And they were very friendly to allow me a late check out considering I was taking a late flight, so it allow me to take a nice shower before leaving. The hotel is general is not a new style hotel, but you can feel the tradition and a mix of Arabic and África. There's a lot of people coming from outside to use the restaurant and that gives some extra life to the hotel. The other times I was not so impressed, this time I loved it. Thank you to all staff.

The food was absolutely fantastic, with a breakfast spread that was not only delicious but also varied and fresh. Every meal was a treat, and I looked forward to every dining experience. Wonderful natural cabins very close to the beach in very green surroundings - you can hear the ocean from your bed. Great breakfast with different options in the lovely restaurant directly at the beach. You can just relax there or ask for possible activities. All clean and safe, staff is super friendly and tries to serve your needs at any moment. I reached in the middle of the night and still everything worked well (getting the keys, being guarded by watchmen to my cabin).

The Hotel is very beautiful. Very cozy and nice Hotel area. Beachside area with activitys. Everything what you need. The room was super nice. Very comfortable bed, nice Bathroom. We had a wonderful stay and I can really recommend this Hotel. We will come back when we visit daresalam next time. Nice location.

Food is very affordable in Dar and there are plenty of food...

Food is very affordable in Dar and there are plenty of food options. Getting around Dar is so easy as you can use the Bolt app where it is affordable. I had dinner at Orchid Cafe which had a cozy vibe. Experienced night life in Wavuvi and Samaki Samaki and it was very memorable since they play all song genres. I experienced a Sunset Cruise in Dhow in Dar which was at Kigamboni and it was amazing especially when the sun sets.

Masaki was beautiful.

Masaki was beautiful. I went shopping at Kariakoo and uuugh it was crazy packed with traffic of people. I wouldn't advise it if you don't have to. Stay in Masaki, Oyster Bay, and the surrounding explore the beaches, bars, restaurants, and other hangout joints.
