Our stay at the Mediterraneo hotel was so relaxing! Starting with the beautiful spatious room, provided with airconditioning, a big bathroom with a nice shower, you’re assured of some good nights of sleep. Everyday you’re provided with some bottles of water and you can have some fresh towels. The swimming pool is so refreshing, surrounded by some very relaxing beds to lay on, with the sound of the waves in the background since the hotel is situated right at the seaside. The food at the restaurant is delicious and every staff member is so kind. They love to help you out with whatever question you have! The hotel is situated a little bit out of the city center, which reassures you of a relaxing stay, but you can still go and explore the city easily by tuktuk or taxi. Some sidenotes, airport shuttle is provided by the hotel and there is also a spa at the hotel.

The property needed some love and care, in terms of interior, however despite the age of the hotel, it was clean, calming and safe. The staff were so professional and friendly. I had a short stay but kept coming to have lunch with my children. Our room was quadruple triple room, very spacious for the time that we needed. The food was great! The bed was so comfortable and clean.
House cleaning came everyday to clean. I speak Swahili which made things a lot easier. I would recommend trying learn a few words to have a better communication with the staff. You must call 1 hour in advance for order food as everything is made fresh! We hardly got bitten by mosquitoes because the place was well secure.
Every time I needed help the staff were attentive and made my stay very comfortable.

The location was perfect, the staff exceptionally polite, not to mention the host who was just a phone call away. The security was on another level with a watchman 24 seven .all in all 10/10

This was one of our favorite stays in Dar E Salam.
A point to note if you’re planning to go to Mbudya Island this is a great option as it's pretty close to the beach where you take the boat from.
Danny, the host, is super accommodating and if you need anything whether related to the place or just information related to your itinerary he’s more than ready to help you out.
The two nights we stayed here, Danny was on leave. He took us to two beaches close by on his own. He also took us to a supermarket and pharmacy in the area. We even got to experience buying octopus and squid from a local fish point and a restaurant on the beach cooked it for us. All thanks to Danny!
The place is ideal for a group of friends. I highly recommend Danny’s place if you ever decide to visit this part of the city.
