They were able to relax and watch TV in their own space. The heated pools were great! There was a fitness studio, which I didn't get a chance to use. Bend has changed a lot over the years since my first time...
Bend has changed a lot over the years since my first time there 30+ years ago. Then I would consider it the mecca of Oregon. Now, it's over populated, traffic is horrible and it's totally lost its charm. The Portland/Vancouver area has just as much to offer outdoor-wise and it's 3 hours closer to the coast, though Portland in particular has horrible traffic problems.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

I love Bend and travel there numerous times throughout the year for business and to visit family. It has grown in popularity and can be a bit overwhelming at times and prices are fairly high but the experience is amazing! I felt very safe here. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is quite accommodating. I don't like the fact that there isn't a closet or drawers other than two small drawers in the nightstands. Diego's is a great place to eat, as is The Sports Bar. All about a block away from the hotel! Bend has a lot to offer for many interests. It’s a great place for concerts, shopping, wine tasting, restaurants and breweries. Also it offers fun on the river, hiking trails, biking, parks and more. We arrived Sunday evening and walked a bit looking for a nice place to eat- up one side of the street and down the other. Most everything was closed but we did find a Mexican Restaurant-Carnivals- which was delightful. The food was delicious and service was very good. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, and a wonderful feature.
