- From US$384.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 22 reviewsAll the staff there are super friendly. Because I checked-in late (6PM), they also offered me a complementary 12 PM check-out the next day (1 hr later than the normal 11 AM checkout). The property is clean and well-maintained. The common area gives me a cozy feeling. We had some great chatter sitting near the fireplace with a couple of drinks. The room we booked (Ramble) has a daybed and a window you can look out too. I believe in spring or summer the view will be much greener (we visited in early Feb). The bedding is super comfy. The mattress is not too soft to make you feel you are sinking into it, which I really like.Guest review byKaiUnited States
- From US$182.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 214 reviewsGood breakfast--a huge variety of milks. Charming and whimsical decor throughout based on mid-century modern (ie. marimekko comforters and vintage-style refrigerator and microwave.). Dog-Friendly: doormats with dog themes. Very attractive and clever transformation of this motel which we remember from 60 years ago. Enjoyed talking with manager.Guest review byRainaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 344 reviewsOne of our best stays ever. Nice spacious room, comfortable bed, plenty of space to hang clothes, very quiet, excellent bathroom and all brilliantly clean. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, local information in the room was very useful and WiFi was strong and reliable. Close enough to Williamstown centre to walk.Guest review byErnestUnited Kingdom

It's big and comfortable. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are amazing. We also enjoyed the outdoor pit fire with the view on the mountains. I will definitively recommend this place.Guest review byNicolasFrance
- From US$356.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 297 reviewsI loved that the historic quality of the Inn was preserved and that it had not been renovated to death. Its antique charms were well preserved and that’s what I loved best. The creaking floors, the dark hallways with nooks and crannies, the wonderful antiques. Please don’t change!Guest review byCatherineUnited States

Lenox seems more crowded than mid-town Manhattan in summer, especially weekends, but the town traffic control is very good and after many short stays in the area, it remains our choice destination. Be patient, find a place to park, then walk in the village. Make dinner reservations well in advance. Drive out to one of several near-by walking places (and/or drives). Choose from the many mansions open for touring in Lenox or within driving distance (e.g., The Mount (my favorite), Ventfort Hall, Arrowhead, etc.) and art museums nearby (the Clark Art in Williamstown is amazing). Stroll in the peaceful Berkshires Botanical Garden (Stockbridge). Make a plan and then deviate at will.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 4.0

I stayed in Pittsfield to visit the New Lebanon and Pittsfield Shaker villages. It was wonderful to see these historical places. Pittsfield is a bit sad as a town, a bit decayed... though they do have a theater and a concert hall.Guest review byLILIANAChile - 8.0

There is little to see in Williamstown itself, apart from the campus of the college, which is less architecturally pleasing than (say) Amherst. Nonetheless, it is an excellent base from which to see the Berkshires and southern Vermont.Guest review byDouglasUnited States - 8.0

We stayed in Great Barrington to attend a performance at the Mahaiwe. It was leaf-peeping season, so we stayed two nights. It was a pleasure to drive around the countryside. We had breakfast both days at Marketplace Kitchen Table, right across the street from our motel. On Saturday evening we ate at The Well. The food and service are great, but there can be a wait to eat indoors.Guest review byTom HackettUnited States - 6.0

I didn't stay in Lee for anything that was in Lee, but for Lee's proximity to Stockbridge, and Lenox. Lee had nothing that I was interested in and I was only in the town when in my room ar the hotel.Guest review byWalshUnited States - 6.0

Definitely glad to have visited Joe's Cafe, a local watering hole for many years. We chatted with the waitress, a few other customers, and Joe's son Frank. It's that kind of place--hot coffee, mushroom omelette for my wife, corn beef hash with eggs up for me.Guest review byCherylUnited States - 2.0
One of the worst motels in my life.
One of the worst motels in my life. Working here very strange people, by smell of marihuana from them all the time. On matrass by some reason was plastic cover , and on it impossible to sleep (never see it in hotels before, but I changed a lot of hotels and motels). When I removed it, they told about bugs , which can come without it and why I took it away. All old and ruined. No any hangers at all. No any change of linens and towels. For shampoo you need to ask. In bathroom a lot of huge ants.Guest review byYuriUnited States - 8.0

Stockbridge is charming, the Rockwell Museum and grounds are worth a trip. Good location to visit all of the Rte 7 Berkshires from the VT border to CT. Best food found in W.Stockbridge or Lenox and best shopping Great Barrington and The Mount, Botanical Gardens and Mt. Greylock summit were all highlights for us.Guest review bylauraUnited States - 10.0

A very "walkable" town that has much to offer - a good selection of restaurants and arts activities. The presence of MCLA and the many state and local parks really enhances the area's cultural and outdoor offerings. Although there a a handful of stately homes that are need of repair, this only enhances the charm of the city. Within an hour's walk, I was able to take in a good portion of the city. Highly recommend Ramunto's Brick Oven Pizza - delicious food and an easy walk from Downstreet Hotel and other points downtown.Guest review byCathleen StephenUnited States
