Exceptionally beautiful little hotel complex right on Duval Street, not far from the most interesting sights. However, in the summer heat, even short distances on foot become an ordeal. It is advisable to rent a scooter from the rental station right next door. Rooms are very clean, well-kept furnishings in a high-class style. The staff are very, very friendly and happy to help with any problem. For a hotel that does not have its own kitchen/restaurant, the breakfast is excellent and leaves little to be desired other than hot food. As we said when we left: if we ever return to Key West, we will stay here!

I recently stayed at Parrot Key Hotel, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by Fadil. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel at home. Fadil went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was perfect. He took the time to recommend activities, assisted with special requests, and even checked in with us daily to make sure we were enjoying our stay. His friendly demeanor and genuine care made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel welcomed and cared for this is the place, we can’t wait to return.

Furniture seems slightly run down, AC had few problems , but who cares - this place is just like heaven and an absolute must for everyone who goes to the Keys and can afford the cost. Fantastic lagoon pool within a palm tree garden surrounded by the beautiful wooden beach villas. Private beach with plenty of water sports facilities. Dolphin research center and Sandspur beach just 15 min by car, the turtle hospital is located next door. Absolutely great for children. Probably the best resort on the Keys. Will always remember our time here and hope to come back !

This resort has everything you might want in order to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The unit itself was decorated nicely, the linens were of high quality, the staff is expertly trained and skilled to give you quality attention without being intrusive. We hired the sunset sail. The skipper and first mate were very professional.

The staff was friendly, the accommodation comfortable (especially the beds!), secured parking and a central location. The pool and the surrounding area looked tempting, but unfortunately we didn't get to try it. We are sure that the view from the hotel is beautiful when the sun sets, but we still went a few steps to the pier.

We unintentionally coincided with Fantasy Fest.

We unintentionally coincided with Fantasy Fest. What a blast. Been described as Spring Break for old people. We dived Vanderburg Wreck with Captains Corner Diving. They were great. If you are unfamiliar with the wreck, book a guide as you only have a short bottom time. Parking is absolutely extortionate Be prepared to pay about $60 for daily parking. There is a public bus but was a bit sporadic. It's a shame that the public transport is not better. The trolley bus tour is expensive but really good to see all the sights. You can get on and off at each of the sights - We used it for the whole day to get around. If you are really clever you can park the car close to one of the far out stops and get the trolley bus in. Judy Blooms bookshop is worth a visit. It made my wife's day. Judy works there and if you're lucky you get to say hello to her if she is there.

The diningroom and breakfast was good. Our room was dirty with mold, toliet didn't work and the sliding glass door was unlocked so had to call maintenance because we couldn't lock it, maintenance came two times for the toliet and it still wasn't fixed properly!!! Quiet, serene town but had the trappings that we wanted. The restaurant venues were good and not overpriced. The conveniences of a CVS/ Walgreens was present. I love Starbucks and there was one less than 10 minutes away. The local bar/restaurant was within walking distance on the same street. It was fine. All was fine. Just 95 degree balmy tepid temperatures are difficult, but that’s the Keys in the summertime

The bungalows are fairly new, but are not well kept you can wipe the floor with a white washcloth damp in it and it’ll be completely dirty with just one wipe in the drawers. There were hair. The bed had a stain on the bed liner after removing the sheets and putting them in the shower for the maid to wash, they never washed that bedliner. It was completely discussed. It probably would’ve left if I didn’t known it was there. There were problems with the room as far as a globe on a light in the bathroom was broken. The room could’ve use a good cleaning, but as I said, it’s fairly new just not well. Maintained probably won’t look nice for long.

Tavernier is between Key Largo & Islamorada, so it is in a great location. It's an easy drive from Miami airport (just over one hour). It is about a 1 hr. 45 min. drive to Key West, which makes a great day trip (we did it twice during our eight-day stay. Our favorite dining spots are Capt. Craig's (superb chef-prepared meals), The Fish House (a Key Largo institution), and High Tide (best breakfast). For groceries there is Winn Dixie a few minutes from the apartment and Publix in Key Largo (we prefer Publix for better produce and selection). For activities, there's a small beach at Ocean Pointe which was nice, not too crowded, and relaxing. There is John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, only a few minutes away, with lots of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and glass bottom boat rides. We always take a half day of fishing with Capt. Jordan or Capt. Matt (Key Largo Fishing Adventures) and if you like to sky dive, go to Key West for a day and jump with one of the great instructors there. It's worth it! Getting around in the Keys is super easy - one road in (Overseas Hwy.) and marked by MM (mile markers) so everything is straight forward.

Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant. Not too flashy, not too expensive. 1/2 a dozen places to eat. A full size grocery store. All of 25 miles from Key west. Great fishing. Plenty of key deer. Just a nice laid back spot in the lower keys.

The location was good for getting to Key West, only 20 mins away. there is a good size fridge in the room. the view is nice, but can't enjoy it outside because of the bugs. The Tiki bar is still closed. There's no coffee machine in the room, which really is inexcusable for me. To pay $800+ for 3 nights and have to go outside to the tiki bar to get coffee, no thanks! You need to bring your own hair conditioner, and body lotion. Bottom line, I would not recommend . I didn't eat in the restaurant there, but their menu is high priced. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was grungy looking.

Silver Palm in is walking distance from the heart of the city and is a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful, We also enjoyed the Old Town Trolley Tours. One of the Drivers Philipp was exceptional and great with the history of Key West. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and it is very good. Do the tour 1st and get an idea of what/where to go afterwards. You can get on/off anytime and this trolley runs from 15-30 minutes at each stop, there were 13 stops ending at Mallory Square in the heart of the city.
