The facility was the best ‘value for money’ in the area. The free local buses meant we could go anywhere. No restaurant in this hotel but that was okay as we went elsewhere, no problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone else travelling on a budget.

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.

Spacious room with lovely ambience, super comfy bed and loved the little touches to everything in the room that give it such a homely relaxing vibe. Room has another door that opens out onto large green back yard and let's in lovely sea breeze. Bianca and Jon Paul are super chill hosts they have great kitchen facilities and are within 10min walking distance from the nearest grocery store. Highly recommend staying here. 👌

Amazing place run by lovely people. Owners have poured their heart and soul into this property. So much attention to detail. So spacious; loved all the timber and the handcrafting and decorating, the koi fishpond under the entry floor; each room has a different theme. Super comfy bed, and huge bathroom. Massive kitchen and loungeroom on each floor, with everything you need in a kitchen. They even have some snorkel gear you can borrow, which we did. Stunning views from the lanai and lounge area, and it's an easy drive from the town. I highly recommend this place and I would come back again. It really is 10/10.
