- From US$103.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 1,889 reviewsWe really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and very helpful, they gave us a lot of great tips and recommendations. The room was great, very large, at the top floor and with an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The casino is small but very nice. You actually have the time and space to play a table game, if you like that, and interact with the dealers. The location is great and still close to all the other nature attractions around Lake Tahoe. It was my first time at Lake Tahoe, and the hotel experience contributed to the fun we had there.Guest review byCatalinaLuxembourg
- From US$412.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 450 reviewsThe Landing Resort & Spa is a lovely retreat for those looking to relax. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains that create a peaceful ambiance. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and provide a cozy environment to relax in. Although the fireplace in the room wasn’t functional during my visit, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay. It’s a fantastic place for a quiet getaway, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.Guest review byKatarzynaSwitzerland

Bike paths are great.
Bike paths are great. Sand Harbor was great too, but crowded. The bike path from Incline to Sand Harbor is a must. I think it has reached the point in South Lake where there are more people zipping around on escooters than bicycles.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 4.0

This is a ghost town, there no people. the restaurants are empty and not very good. We only found a Thai restaurant The Basil it was very good and Vino's Pizza also very good. There is a nice hiking trail but that't about it. We had a great time because we went with friends but it is very sad to see Cities like this one.Guest review byAidaUnited States - 6.0
Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation.
Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation. Harveys is being re-branded with a ton of construction. Inside was seriously a shell of itself. Golden Nugget is also under construction and remodel. The whole area just felt run down. Not the Stateline we remembered from years past. I am sure it will improve once construction ends, but at this time it is a work in progress.Guest review byderek - 8.0

Lots of shopping and eating establishments. Great burgers at Burger Me! Enjoyed visit to Donner Lake Memorial State Park. Merchants selling winter wear in late April charging crazy amount of $ for snow gloves & boots so come prepared.Guest review byKIMBERLYUnited States - 8.0

Not enough parking! Had to not do activities due to not getting a place to park. Beautiful lake, interesting cultural sights & wonderful trails...would love to go back when fewer people or parking issue is resolved.Guest review bySharon NicholsUnited States - 10.0

Very different vibe than South Lake Tahoe...more "beach town" than mountain resort. We enjoyed the burgers at Char Pit and ice cream at nearby Log Cabin Ice Cream & Coffee. N Lake Blvd has a lot of fun shops & eateries, but we ended up going into Incline Village for most of our shopping & dining.Guest review byRobinsonUnited States - 8.0
We stayed in the summer.
We stayed in the summer. I loved the location - comfortable without being too touristy. Make sure you book your beach reservations well in advance of your trip; otherwise, you will end up hiking, and if you are from sea level like us, you will feel like you're dying.Guest review byKymaraUnited States - 8.0

Very scenic area with lots of water based and hiking activities. Lots of great places to eat with friendly staff. Guests visiting in the summer months should be aware of a daily resort tax which is not reflected in the booking.com price. We incurred $50 extra per night which we were not aware of at the time of booking.Guest review byLouiseUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's an awesome place to visit; the skiing is world class, and the views of Lake Tahoe are unmatched anywhere in the USA. There is so much history at this Resort. The "Base-to-Base" gondola opens up so much more terrain to ski. The "Village" is nicely planned with shops and stores and great places to eat. There is even a tiny Market to help stock the fridge (but only for quick items, essential). If planing on staying up there for a week, also plan on going "into town" to purchase more grocery items (a car is needed)... UBER prices from Reno Airport are about $110. LIMITED OR NO Uber services returning to Reno!!! Cost to Return can be as high as $500.... If you Uber, get your drivers name and number; make an arrangement to contact that Uber driver and have them drive you back to Reno at the end of your vacation: Cash deal; off the books; it would be like a private limousine service. (about $125-$150)Guest review byRoy - 10.0

Gardnerville is a quiet little city adjoining Minden, 16 miles from Carson City, and just down the very steep Kingsbury Grade from Stateline and South Lake Tahoe. Bus service is good to all of these places, and a vehicle makes them more accessible. We took a side trip to Virginia City and saw wild horses. There is a lot of history here, restaurants and bakeries, and proximity to interesting places to visit.Guest review byMargaretUnited States
