I loved everything about this hotel. The room was actually an apartment with a full kitchen furnished with anything you might need tp prepare your own meals, a sitting room with the most comfortable recliners and flat-screen tv with an extensive choice of programs to watch, and the bedroom had a really comfortable mattress with a second tv. The hotel offers a newer section for people who prefer more modern surroundings, but I loved the "old school" feeling of the updated original hotel, with it's beautiful woodwork, large rooms and actual keys. Everything is clean and well cared for. It was so quiet, we almost slept past breakfast! The restaurant and pub has delicious food at great prices and the included breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. They also offer indoor parking which is so appreciated during inclement weather. We stayed here at our son's recommendation and he was not wrong. I will definitely stay here again.

No one on reception when we got there after 3 phone calls somebody turned up & checked us in huge room really clean and very comfy beds plenty of coffee and breakfast as well chairs and ashtrays outside of rooms for us smokers

Loved the old-school vibes! Had so much fun playing Super Mario Brothers and Frogger! Beds comfortable, rooms clean, staff accommodating to our room choices, and the location perfect!
