It was by far the cheapest place in town, even beating Motel 6 for the Saturday night in late March that we stayed at. There seemed like many people who stay here long term. If they are paying for it the same price I paid for one night, then I don't blame them for staying here long term for the value. There is a stove, a full size fridge, lots of drawers and cupboards. No pots and pans or utencils. But it was spacious for our group of 3 adults and one child. The tub was very slippery. I think it's the design of the tub as it curves in a lot compared to other ones I've used. I warned everyone else to go in the tub first then turn on the water. The best part of my stay would be the staff. They accommodated me when I requested a room change as the first floor was half basement. In addition, I had left my earbuds in the bed and drove out of town. When I called back, Mel was so helpful and held the item for me as I begrudgingly drove back in town again. I could have it mailed, but decided to drive back instead. Thank you for a great stay if you are realistic about what you should get for the price you are paying.Guest review byjaneCanada

Please avoid this place! I wish I would've read the reviews before booking The Comfort Suites in Kennewick. The staff was rude and discourteous, seemed annoyed that we were interrupting her as she had a mouthful of food. She put both of our parties at the end of the hotel near the highway. It was impossible to sleep, making the next days travel unbearable. Breakfast was decent and the rooms were spacious and clean but that is the only 2 things that were tolerable. When asked to move to a quieter part of the hotel, we were denied. According to a fellow traveler, the hotel was not booked. Good location, comfortable bed. Breakfast was typical hotel food- bland and cold, soggy potatoes, watered down coffee. Dry sauna was out of order. Grounds were dirty with cigarette butts, trash. What a beautiful drive to Pasco from Seattle!
What a beautiful drive to Pasco from Seattle! Who knew this region was so rich with agriculture and history?! Once you hit Prosser and drive through to Pasco, you hit 30 different wineries and hops crops. Its simply lovely! Once we arrived, everywhere we went, people were friendly, helpful, and this city is so clean!! The streets are free of debris and just beautiful. Kennewick is usually a great stop of ours.
Kennewick is usually a great stop of ours. Plenty to do such as wine tasting, walk along the river, boat races and Farmer Markets. Red Lion is not a place I would recommend but there are many other places to stay in central Kennewick. Lots of restaurants within walking distance of several hotels. It was conveniently located to the airport and had a shuttle to the airport that was easily accessible. The staff were friendly. The facility itself is a bit run down, the curtain hung off at both ends limply and the patio area was not kept up or pleasant to look at.
