Beautiful Swiss ski chalet designed hotel with stunning location in the centre of town. The hotel had a heated pool and beautiful decor and we were made at home from the minute we walked in the door. It was my husband’s birthday and the lady at reception treated us to free parking and an upgrade to the most amazing suite.

We stayed at Evergreen Lodge at Vail for a night just before the start of the ski season. The timing was perfect—both the village and the hotel were very quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The hotel is very accessible and offers ample free parking for guests. Vail is compact and easily walkable, and the hotel’s location is convenient—close to the hospital and the public library. There’s also an all-day free bus service throughout the village, with the nearest stop right at the Vail Public Library. On the ground floor, you’ll find the reception and two dining options: a Nepalese/Indian restaurant and the Altitude Bar & Grill. There’s also a pool table for some fun downtime with friends. In the basement, there’s a large outdoor pool (closed during our visit), a small heated indoor pool, and a gym. We stayed in a queen room with two queen beds. The room was warm, cozy, and comfortable. There were portable fans in the cupboard for better air circulation if needed.
