The property's location is fabulous, right on the water, and the sunsets were fabulous. The property was very comfortable and easy to stay in. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and pots and cooking utensils. The host was generous, kind and welcoming. The property is not in Oak Harbor but only a 9 minute drive to a supermarket, cafes etc.

Langley island is so charming with a peaceful and beautiful vibe. We loved hiking around the shores of pungent sound, photographing the seagulls, drinking coffee and watching incredible sunsets. Every bite of food we experienced was over the top Delicious!! Especially loved the Langley Island cafe where we were served the best sandwich I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back to this little slice of heaven on earth💕🙌

Freeland was great! Gordon's nearby had excellent food. Forgot to mention we saw deer, 3 of them, come into the garden of our rental home, Mutiny Sands. We took pictures of them! The view of the water and the barges coming into the Sound was breathtaking as well.

Recommend sending detailed instructions such as 1.2 miles from main road there’s a sign to the right with an orange spray paint address. Turn onto single lane road across a bridge. Continue for 0.1 mi. There will be another address sign on the right…. Etc. Also tell people there is no phone service.

Greenbank doesn't offer much beyond a really bad-ass sandwich shop, and a nice grocery nearby in Freeland. The bigger towns of Langley or Coupeville offered more in the way of shops, restaurants, etc.

Wonder House's fantastic beach was so great, we mostly stayed right there. What a great spot for low tide rambling; I have never seen so many mussels in my life! The Price Sculpture Forest is just down the road, truly a "must-experience"! We also enjoyed visiting Fort Casey with its lighthouse and were thrilled to be right in the midst of seven eagles hunting and soaring around us! Don't miss the well-documented historic Sunnyside Cemetery, we could have spent hours there. Coupeville is a darling little town with many historic buildings. Can't wait to return!

There is much to see in and around Coupeville. We stayed at the close of the busy tourist season so some of the local shops were on limited hours of operation but many were open and easily accessed. Travel to local attractions was easily accomplished.

Langley is a great town with plenty of shops and cafes. The people were friendly/welcoming--even the nice police officer who pulled us over on our way out of town to remind us to keep our speed at 25 mph while in town. It's the best experience I have had with a traffic stop.
