The hotel is brand new and very nicely decorated. Reception were super helpful in sorting out a couple of issues we had. The pool looked nice and is accessible 24/7 at your own risk because it's not supervised.

Honestly, this has been one of our nicest stays in Vietnam. The host has been so friendly and helpful. We relied on Google translate a lot, but it all worked. Our room was so clean, it sparkled. The beds were firm but comfortable. The shower room fresh and clean. Breakfasts were good, and varied over the days we stayed. The homestay was very convenient for Nam Cat Tien park entrance and there were many options for other food close by. We even loved the noisy gecko calls at night! Oir host helped me book a bus back to HCMC and kept our bags while we had a last birdwatching visit to the park before our bus. We arrived expecting rustic accommodation but this far exceeded all expectations.

    The rooms were huge and comfortable with air conditioning and with a fan for the Deck that looked over the river. The hospitality was five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the food was plentiful I really enjoyed the free cooking lesson. they took us on a Meakong Delta river tour just 2 to 3 minutes walk away from the villas. The taxi are cheap so exploring was easy.

    Ideal for those interested in wildlife. Tasty food, the national park is right outside, and you can view birds flying across the river in the evenings and mornings. Luan speaks perfect English, and is very helpful and will organise all the best activities in the park. Also, highly recommended to take the lodge's boat tour!

    Friendly and uncomplicated staff..... Nice hotel set back from the main noisy road ..... renovations are underway to make it even more comfy.... Always happy to walk back into a room here ;-) A Sushi restaurant 300 meters down the road and a LotteMart 450 meters up the main road.

    Really close to the National park entrance and ferry point .. you can hear the gibbons singing in the mornings which was pretty cool! We even found a lovely frog in our toilet one night and he spent the night sitting on the towel rail .. very cute! Loved our stay here

    Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room...

    Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room over the river. The cabin like rooms with stilts over the river and balconies. Restaurant on site was convenient and offered good dinner menu but noisy in the evening. Breakfast less good and room lacked some facilities, needed a bit of maintenance and updating. A lot of people staying and it was very noisy until later than I would expect for a lodge and rural retreat of this kind.

    Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine...

    Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine rainforest/jungle experience and, if you’re quiet and escape the weekend crowds, you can see some incredible wildlife. Take binoculars! There are paths you can follow either by walking (very hot) or by inexpensively renting a bike and, once you’re deep into the jungle along these paths, you’ll see gibbons and macaques and the most incredible bird life as well as lizards and the most amazing range of butterflies. At weekends, the park is visited by large numbers of young Vietnamese cycling in large groups who are very noisy and have little interest in seeing the exquisite wildlife, so avoid weekends. Everything becomes much quieter and calmer by Sunday lunchtime.

    Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just...

    Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!
