Absolutely the best, not just from the point of view of accomodation (which is clean, very comfortable, and very well equipped), but especially thanks to great person of the owner, who is really helpful. He arranged the bus from the airport for us, and he helped us with the motorbike trip around the loop (including rent of very good motorbike). He was ready during whole journey as a "friend on phone " to help us with everything, each time when we had any question or problem, he was ready on whatsup. It was absolutely amazing "all inclusive" service, we appreciate it and can recommend this accomodation to everybody.

The lovely family who hosted us were extremely helpful and welcoming. They offered us hot tea and fruit every time we came by reception. They also dropped us off at the bus station in the early morning as taxis are often hard to come by. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all!

Stayed here for 1 night while on the Ha Giang Loop and I was so happy. The place is nice, clean and convenient, it comes with great breakfast and the staff is absolutely outside and very friendly, highly recommend if you're passing by and need a place to stay!

The 3-day or 4-day Ha Giang Loop tour is very high quality, the drivers are always safe and friendly. Community support activities such as charity and free English classes are very appreciable. Had a nice stay at this hostel. There was a blackout when we arrived, but the staff gave us some lights to keep us comfortable. They also gave us a free lift to our bus pickup spot and a free coffee in the morning. Beds were comfy, room was spacious too. Great place.

AMAZING. The family running the business are very nice and kind, they helped us with every doubt that we had. And the two kids are so cute and lovely, we spent a lot of time playing with them and having fun! Sad that we couldn't get back there to meet them again, but if your plan is to do the Ha Giang Loop, this is the place.

Lovely spot outside of the center of the charming Du Gia. - perfect if you want to avoid big groups. We loved the food here and took the rice set for dinner (rice with 6-7 dishes (meat or veg option available) - everything beautiful and fresh - from the family’s farms to your table. We stayed in the bungalow and it was very comfortable with instant hot water and good pressure. La and her family were attentive and welcoming. This place is walking distance to the waterfall if you fancy getting off of your motorcycle and using your feet. There is A/c for the hot days and a little “faux fireplace”heater for the cold ones. This was easily our favorite stay on our loop.

    We stayed at the Pheonix Hotel in Ha Giang for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, the staff were highly efficient and extremely helpful. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river and the view was excellent. The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.

    The property is stunning, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. Our room was extremely spacious and very clean – truly a pleasure to stay in. The staff were kind, especially the Supervisor, who took excellent care of us. The infinity pool overlooking the mountains is magnificent. We also enjoyed the cooking class service, which was an interesting, enriching, and fun experience. The walk to the nearby tea farm was very pleasant, and the tasting experience is not to be missed. We rested and relaxed – two perfect days!

    The stay at Hoang Su Phi was magical. Hien took extraordinary care of us. We felt like family. The meals were exceptional and she went above and beyond to make sure our large family was cared for. The placement in the hills was magnificent with panoramic views across a stunning vista. Hien arranged a trek with a local guide, Sai, who brought us through the rice terraces and to an incredible home-stay lunch. This is truly a memory of a lifetime.

    The city is a typical Vietnamese city: everything you need in a crammed space. The big draw of HaGiang is the starting point for the Ha Giang Loop, by motorcycle, bike or backpack. Absolutely outstanding natural beauty.

    Meo Vac is in a stunning part of the Ha Giang loop the scenery is breathtaking!! . BUT BE WARNED... most of the featured so called 26 or more "HOMESTAYS " are in a totally artificial new, so called brand new "VILLAGE" outside and completely cut off from the town of Meo Vac itself. This seems to be a very popular choice with Vietnamese tourists but we found it quite bizarre.. and nightly Karaoke is a speciality.!!! a sort of sanitised Disneyland version of what it should be.. The "Homestay village" is a tourist trap and very expensive!! and totally unreal!!!. There are real Homestays in the town where you can get the feel of the real Vietnam...

    Loved the views and the tranquillity. Cannot recommend highly enough. Wish we stayed longer. Pack some insect repellent as the mozzies are on the bite. The hosts were fantastic and the price is reasonable.

    The famous Lo Lo Chai community village is impressive,...

    The famous Lo Lo Chai community village is impressive, however it’s been boost up mostly to travelers demands. Nevertheless, the next door Then Pa village is 5-6 minutes ride on motorbike, right beneath the Flag tower…is great balance of staying in the community and being separated of the main living facilities of community members, who didn’t convert their houses into cafe or homestay. The price could be considered too high for Vietnam, however the experience worth it to stay there, and remember that facilities are decent for this amount comparing to Europe or other places in Aisa with high rates. Worth to mention that this region is known as “thirsty region” be mindful with water consumption at the place. Hope this review helps you, enjoy your stay!

    The bus trip from Hanoi is a bit of a challenge but once you get here, that seems irrelevant. A peaceful place provided you find suitable accommodation, preferably in a homestay away from the main part of town.

    Words cannot describe this amazing experience. The guide and drivers were beyond friendly and extremely considerate of their riders especially on the bumpy roads and the honestly in Dong Van was stunning. The views seen at every stop was beyond breathtaking and fun to be had at night with happy water and Kareoke. Was the absolute highlight of my time in Vietnam and I would fully encourage others to add it to their must do list.
