Ho Chi Minh is a vibrant city with lots of French influence. The city has many interesting places to visit like the city centre with the Opera House and statue of Ho Chi Minh, Ben Thanh markets, Ben Nghe street food restaurants, Independence Palace and War Remnants museum. Outside the city is the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong river which are both day trips.
