Absolute perfect stay at La Siesta Saigon and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! The staff is super friendly, helpful and carrying. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need for your stay, short or long. Breakfast is delicious and with enough western and Asian options. The swimming pool is great for an “end of the day” cool down. La Spa is also incredible and worth it, a professional massage service at a fair price. We hope to come back once again to HCM and we would definitely choose La Siesta again :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful, always willing to hear your needs and provide good service. The room is clean and cozy , and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and spacious.Location wise is perfect, not far from the city center, you can either walk or take a Grab to the main attractions in Ho Chi Minh, it is also close to restaurants and bars. On the evening before your check out, you get a bucket with a specific mix of salts and fruits so you can have a foot spa and rest your feet. Though the breakfast was not big, it was fresh and varied, and I would say quite enough options to get a nutritious breakfast. Summarizing, I highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Ho Chi Minh.

The hotel staff at the front desk responded politely. There was a little dust in the room, but it didn't bother me and I was able to spend a comfortable time. My partner, who came with me, had my birthday the next day and even though I hadn't told him, he brought me a cake as a surprise. I was very satisfied. thank you.

We stayed on the residence floor of the hotel. If it was an airline, compare it to business/first class. Separate breakfast area, soft drink and tea/coffee inclusive all day. In the evening, 5:30 to 8 Pm, food and alcoholic drinks are available. The quality of food is second to none and the service exceptional. Chloe was our check in girl and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. Pool spotless always beds available. Poolside service included replenishment of water glasses. We have stayed in many five star hotels worldwide and I can safely say that the New World Hotel is probably the best. But... Check out the residence floor.

Excellent location. In the heart of District 1. Walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, Japanese Street. Even though it id yhe oldest hotel in Saigon, it is very well kept. Room is spacious and clean. While it may seemed insignificant to some, I noticed they changed the lift carpets 3times a day. Greeting guest with Good Morning, Good Afternoon n Good Evening. Keep up the good effort.

Good breakfast, excellent view from the rooms since I had opted for river facing room. Location is one of the best with access to the city centre and the market. Being more than 100 years old the property has a Majestic look and exceedingly well maintained. The staff and manager were courteous and very polite and helpful.

The city is busy, busy, busy.

The city is busy, busy, busy. The colonial history and architecture, make for some good sight seeing. Most attractions are fairly central, with the Independence Palace and Army Museum giving a good insight to the countries recent history. Food is fabulous and the SH Garden restaurant is highly recommended.

Busy, Busy City

Busy, Busy City Vibrant if you stay in the right district a little unwelcoming & full on if you stay in the likes of D5 Chinatown. "Tourist" district is definitely D1. I didn't love the food here as much as I thought I was thinking more flavourful like Thailand but it's a little more basic and local than that. Highlights Ice Coffee I didn't love egg coffee that's more of a dessert. Sugar Cane drink Food was just survivable for me. Loved the Cu Chi Tunnels interesting & informative moderate challenge on the knees 😆 Did not rate Remnants Museum especially in the morning as school groups go through, disrespectful, loud and completely detracts from the feeling you expect to have. Mekong River Tour not bad cool River, big and industrious the meal was ok but cold. Oh and at the Tunnels firing the AK47 was a highlight even though I'm not a gun person interesting to know the power of them. The people of HCM are polite although not the friendly, smiling people I expected but that's because it's a business area. Grab Scooters are awesome I'm 51 felt very safe definitely get the app. Overall good place worth seeing. I wouldn't come back but glad I visited 5 days would be ample.

Great escape from the bustling city of Saigon, only 1.5hrs traveling by motorbike ... Many historical sites to dive into, plenty of serene countryside rice fields & bumpy offroad trails to explore ... If seeking accommodations, be sure to check out Les Hameaux de l'Orient :)

Being in the right area helps with the experience of the city. With all the movement of south east Asia it's nice to have a quite relaxed hotel to step back into. Wonderful experience, lovely people there are a lot of options depending on what your interests are.
