Perfect family place to stay . The rooms were very clean & spacious. Thanks to Ms Jenny for coordination . Arranged for taxi from Hanoi to Halong & Return . Price was very competitive . Took a day cruise through hotel which was a bit expensive however it very luxurious one as compared to other on-site . Thanks to Ms Jenny once again to make a comfortable stay throughout .

Staff service was 1st class. Very Informative , Knowledgeable, when asked about aminities , eg restaurants, sightseeing etc. Ms Minh booked the HLB cruise for us. We had an unfortunate Incident. My friend lost his hp.the reception staff helped to call the cruise, taxi driver who dropped us etc. They were so sincere/caring to locate the hp. Very nice hotel , I liked it so much due to the service.

For the second time, we have taken "a moment to breathe" at Paradise Suites. Travelling is hard work and when you're meant to be on holidays and resting, Ha Long is a great place to just stop for a minute. This hotel is not in Ha Long City, it is on the harbour from where the cruises leave. It is exquisitely appointed and offers a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Breakfasts are included in your booking and are a full buffet, with a chef cooking eggs made to order. When you're ready, one of the staff will drive you down to the private infinity pool and private beach, where again chilled drinks and nibbles will be delivered to you. There are very few people staying on this island area and so there is no noise, no rush, no one trying to sell to you, just peace and quiet. The beds are exceptional and the rooms are beautiful with fantastic lighting for all your needs (reading lights and ambient). The staff are wonderful, reception communicate quickly, Phương (F&B coordinator) and the restaurant staff can truly not do enough for you. Take a moment, you won't beat this place.

Everything, the bed was comfortable, the room and the bathroom was spacious. It was clean and airy with many storage space, sockets and a television. Room looked like just on the pictures. No plastic bottles but the water was served in glass jars instead. The host was kind and caring, helped me to get to the island and also book shuttles to get back to Hanoi. They gave me a lift at my departure and at my leaving. Got nice suggestions where to eat and they let to use their bike to cycle around on the island. I had an amazing time here that I am super grateful for!

I would highly recommend this hotel based on my experience. The location near the harbour was great, and the friendly staff made for a pleasant stay. The highlight, however, was definitely the very good breakfast. It was delicious and had plenty of options. Overall, the hotel offered very good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The karsts are beautiful, and can easily be viewed from shore without the need to do a boat tour. The tourism is a "wild-west" scenario, with the natural environment taking a pounding. There's trash in the water, hordes of people crammed onto literally hundreds of boats and ships, diesel permeates the air... It's a tourist trap money grab done poorly! I hear Cat Ba Island is more scenic, natural, and unspoiled. Maybe that's a better option. We WOULD NOT return to Ha Long Bay,

Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000...

Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000 meters. Hiking to Yen Tu Mountain is a fantastic and spiritual experience. You will see a lot of old temples of more than 700 years, which gives you a feeling back in ancient time.

Co To Island is a very peaceful place. We were perhaps the only tourists from Europe there. Otherwise only local. On the other hand, there is nothing much to do there, we went there to relax for a while and the place was perfect for that. Empty beaches, warm sea, nice people. The problem was with the trash on the beach. They are still trying to clean it up, but they say the sea from China is still washing up there. Garbage is a problem in Vietnam as a whole.

It was off peak so not everywhere was open. Some of the streets were deserted. However the boat trip was really good, busy but not as busy as in peak season when it must be too busy! The boats all go to the same places so the sea is just filled with boats which slightly detracts from the experience . We did enjoy our boat trip and our boat was lovely and had loads of space and not too many people! Maybe around 20 of us but spread over 3 decks, so loads of space!

The downside is the transportation to + forth.

The downside is the transportation to + forth. We bought tickets on a shuttle van from Hanoi. There must be better options but the resort doesn't offer transportation services. So, you either hire a private car at $100 USD one way or pay $12 USD one way for a seat on a shuttle van. These vans will pick people up on their way as well as cargo so priority is whoever or whatever comes first. It took 3.5 Hours from Hanoi + 4 hours on thew way back. Drivers are OK but they can be extremely aggressive on the road to meet their timeframe.

I like to stay in Ha Long Essence Hotell with comfy beds and...

I like to stay in Ha Long Essence Hotell with comfy beds and pillows. Sleep very well there for one night. With the price I paid I would say the hotel provide high standard of hygiene and nice deco. I don mind booking the hotel again when i am back on Ha Long.

The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed...

The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed particularly, balcony with the view to the pool and green. The surrounding nature is fabulous if you like nature. Just exploring and walk around the compound and village is nice thing to do. There were horses, would be nice if they are more taken care for, and activity of horse riding around the nature with guide would be a plus.
