When my partner and I arrived at the property for our stay, we were instantly greeted with smiles. Angelic the Owner was very warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She looked after us, cooked us amazing food, and helped us create unforgettable moments.

Chef has 20 years experience on cruise line, menu was exceptional. All staff were friendly, efficient and happy. Accommodation was very comfortable, including bedding and pillows. Continental breakfast was included. Lovely pool and bar, outdoor dining, gardens. Location was convenient, bakery across the street. Staff made sure we were safe and secure during Cyclone Lola arrival by supplying towels, flashlights, water. Meals delivered to our room during that unsafe time. Hotel has a generator in case of power outage.

Excellent stay at this fantastic location. Beautiful peaceful spot where you get to see authentic Vanuatu and the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep. Right next to champagne beach and easy to get to blue hole etc by just flagging down a friendly local. A lovely family that look after you from start to finish. Simple, no frills but everything you need. I highly recommend staying here.

Kathy was the absolute best host ever! She helped me with anything during my stay & more. I stayed 6 nights & she makes you feel like at home. She is around at any time to ask questions. The place itself is really clean, facilitys work amazing & the beds are comfy! Supermarket is just opposite side of the street & a bus to town costs 150VT. Would definetely come back here!

Our host Esline was super nice and kind, giving us an upgrade and inviting us for a delicious dinner prepared by her. The housekeeping lady Lina and his family are so nice and sweet and they made our stay amazing. Ginger the dog is very nice too :) the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, right in front of the villas there is a nice and accessible spot for swimming (there is a wreck too), when the sea is calm it is a nice place to snorkel. From the moment we were met at the airport to the personal farewell from the owners, our stay at Aore Island Resort could not be faulted in any way. The location is perfect paradise. The staff friendly and attentive. The food was excellent with a varied menu. Snorkelling in the clear waters directly outside our fare was exceptional.

We absolutely loved staying at the treehouse. Angelique is an exceptional host and a highlight was spending the day with her family preparing a traditional meal cooked in the firepit. The beach is stunning, just like a postcard photo and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Angelique prepared lovely meals everyday and was great to chat to. The treehouse was really special and met our needs. The whole stay was relaxing, a really nice slow pace with swimming, reading, some games and more swimming.
