- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 499 reviewsIt may not be an obvious place because it is further inland from the action, but it surely is the right place. The view alone is worth the stay here. But Dave Parker's is much more than that. The outstanding hospitality of owner Lolita (in 4th generation) together with her long-time staff is unmatched. She's very hands-on and present. Mon-Sat you can take her up on a ride into town if you haven't rented a vehicle yet. Her recommendations for restaurants and car rentals in town are golden. Being further up high, the temperature is lovely. No AC needed. The beds are appointed towards the valley, lovely morning views included. The shower was one of the best we encountered in the region with strong hot water. The billiard room made for good evening activity.Guest review byEvaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 11 reviewsChris runs a well-oiled operation - everything is sorted and it's immaculately clean. The site is just stunning and beautifully arranged in the little, private cove. The gardens are lush and super well-kept. The staff are lovely. It's clear they take care of the buildings and grounds well.Guest review byEricaNew Zealand

There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia.
There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia. There are many beautiful resorts on the southern side of the island and many great snorkelling spots. 2 restaurants we enjoyed in Apia with Paddles and Giodarno's. We hired a car which made getting around alot easier & I would highly recommendGuest review byFionaAustralia - 6.0

I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds. However, it is a long way from the other sights on the island like the To-Sua Trench and Namua island. The drive to those is about 2 hours on the slow roads.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 10.0

The staff were amazing from day one till the end of our stay. Everything went went well. We enjoyed our event on the second night and the food was much better compare to our first dinner. Thank you Saletoga for making our event memorable, will definitely come back and will recommend this place to all my friends and other families overseas.Guest review byIvonaNew Zealand - 10.0

Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf. To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want. A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars. Sadly that does not happen at the new airportGuest review byCarolNew Zealand - 10.0

Great Staff very friendly and helpful. The ladies on the desk were great in suggesting venues to visit. Yvonne and her team in the restaurant were fabulous. Rooms are very clean and serviced every day. We had a great time highly recommend this hotelGuest review byJanAustralia - 8.0

There is not much to do out in this area as its really the wharf town for the ferry out to Savaii. The Sheraton was close by to the wharf and the airport so it worked well for an overnight stay before flying home the next day rather than going all the way into ApiaGuest review bySteveNew Zealand - 10.0
Apia is stuck in 70s timewarp.
Apia is stuck in 70s timewarp. Slow, relaxed, friendly with limited options for food and entertainment. We loved it. We hired rental cars which gave us more options and also visited Savaii and the southern part of Upolu. The snorkeling is great and no boats required.Guest review byglenysNew Zealand
