Pristina is a decent enough city for a short stay.
Pristina is a decent enough city for a short stay. I would say that you only need about a day or maybe a day and a half to explore the city. The city does have a couple of highlights and it is fairly cheap. I would highly recommend that you also go to visit Prizren (also in Kosovo) if you are visiting Pristina. The unit was clean, and spacious. There was a family run restaurant and made delicious food called Gjeltore. Everything else you would need a vehicle or taxi. Pizza delivery was good too. No A/C and the unit was hot so blinds were blocking the sun so I bought a floor fan that made the stay way better. The bus station is around 25-30 minutes walk to the centre, maybe a bit more depending on where you are staying. The centre itself is very walkable with lots of places to see and eat. Local buses are frequent and easy to find too. We really liked the relaxed atmosphere. Try and find Renaissance restaurant if you can. No menu - they feed you very well, with real top-notch food. Overall the people are really friendly, traffic can be a bit challenging as soon as you leave the main routes, it´s cleaner than many places in Kosovo and I was quite amazed how much it changed for the better since I last was there in 2001! Worth a visit after all!Guest review bySeverinAustria
