It was my third time staying in Aghulas Ocean house and it's just the most perfect place in every way - the owners are so very-very sweet, the Ocean House is spotless clean and cosy, breakfast is fresh and tasty. And Aghulas itself is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

We were lucky to get a room for a night over the Easter weekend. A large, comfortable room facing the sea. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff, friendly and helpful. Exceptional value.

If you are traveling to Struisbaai, and I don't see why you would not, the Chateau de Marine hotel is a perfect place to stay. The staff will do everything to make you feel the most comfortable you can ever be. The breakfast is delicious, the service very personal and sweet. The general manager is a fantastic woman, and she will make you feel at home in a heartbeat. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will be back!

Clean and beautiful space with lots of amenities (even a drying towel rack!) Location was safe and secure, host was very gracious and kind. Love the croissants and spread provided in the room that we could have for our breakfast. Only regret is not staying longer.

Rehelah and Husband Steve were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble For those who do not know Steve is a fantastic chef. Always something different. It was very convenient not having to go out to dine. Breakfast was also exceptional Stanley& Denise De Goede

The bed!! wow, it is gigantic and so very very comfortable! The shower matched. large walk in shower with lovely big shower head good water pressure and enough nice hot water for two showers even during load shedding.

Super friendly host, given lots of information about the area, walking trails etc. Property was very tastefully furnished and a lovely outside seating area
