Room was clean and spacious. They also got a generator so you won't be botherd by loadshedding.
We had our breakfast by the beach at Beachcomber bistro (were they offer vouchers if you don't eat at the B&B), and it was good.
Owners were nice and helpful.
I would recommend staying here.

A must stay to enjoy and experience mystic energy of being located between Indian and Atlantic Ocean. Also may curtail a day stay at Cape Town as most of the attractions including Penguin Beach, Seals Island, Chapman's Peak Drive, Ostrich Farm, Wine Yards, Surfing in Muizenberg Beach, Naval Museum and majestic natural landscapes including famous Cape of Good Hpe are bang on this narrow peninsula. Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Very impressed with Kalk Bay.
Very impressed with Kalk Bay. It’s been great seeing the progress in five years in terms of the upliftment of the area. Village was clean and we took the train in to CT central which was great! Clovelly is a lovely quiet area in between the quite lively and noisy suburbs of Kalk Bay and Fish hoek, but only a short walking distance away from them, (about 15 minutes walk) So nice if you want to have peace and quiet while you sleep. Clovelly and fish hoek beach are really close, and the nice restaruants in Kalk bay also close. There are lovely mountain paths you can walk down and hikes right out of the back garden. St James is charming with gracious buildings and homes. Gardens and flowers. There's a tennis court next to the sea. I drove to Muizenberg for a walkabout and breakfast one morning, and shopped in Kalk Bay, but St James is the "gem" sandwiched between the two towns. The location is perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, with easy access to Boulders Beach and its famous penguins, as well as breathtaking drives along the coast. The town itself has a peaceful vibe, friendly locals, and some great little cafés and restaurants. Our accommodation was lovely—clean, comfortable, and with stunning ocean views that made every morning feel special. It’s the perfect base for nature lovers and those looking to unwind by the sea. Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth.
