This is a quaint small town village in the Natal midlands. There are farmer's supply stores, amazing homesteads, a variety of schools, and with proximity to the Drakensburg resorts, and good springboard into the mountains.Guest review byRodneySouth Africa - 8.0

Keen to visit town where the mayor and his staff have made such a difference. A joy to see evidence of thriving businesses, clean environs - and where things seem to work. The Howick Falls and the Mandela Capture site - not to be missedGuest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Beautiful part of the country.
Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. We missed the TV but there is one in the lounge by receptionGuest review byAnonymousSouth Africa - 10.0

The drive there on a Friday and back to gauteng on a Sunday was peaceful, relaxed and meditative. The farmstalls are great stops even better than fuel stations for tasty biltong and home made food and south african made soaps and lotions. This road trip was so much funGuest review bySlosh - 10.0

The various accommodation options make it perfect for couples and families. Huge grounds allow you to get away for some peace and quiet if you want, but we did not feel overwhelmed by people and the place was full. You can either go and feed carrots to the horses or take a short drive to one of the many attractions in the area.Guest review byRobertSouth Africa - 8.0
