The Lodge was extremely comfortable. The staff were excellent and breakfast fantastic. We very much enjoyed dinner at their dining room on our last night with the food being of a outstanding level. The staff organised all of our activities during the stay including transfers. If you are going to Victoria Falls, this is a great choice for accomodation. Also only a short taxi ride from town.

From the moment I was picked up at the airport, my stay here was exceptional. I felt genuinely welcomed by everyone — the receptionist, the staff, the waiters, and even the chef, who personally made sure I was happy with my meals. The waiters were always attentive. All the staff had great local recommendations. Meeting the owners in person made the experience even more special. Their warm hospitality created an atmosphere that made me feel like home. It’s a place I will be coming back to. I can’t recommend it enough!

A beautifully designed property with amazing staff, service and vibe. I traveled as a solo female adventurist and could not have felt more comfortable and safe here. The staff was very helpful, kind and patient in planning my tours and excursions. My ID was unknowingly left behind in a cushion. They found it and helped me to get it back with more ease than my resident country could through DHL. This is where we stay if we return to Victoria Falls!

Batonka is a beautiful, tranquil guest house located just outside the centre of Victoria Falls with easy access to the Falls and airport.     Very sweet quaint little property with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay! Rooms were good size and opened into the central courtyard. Hot water was always available. they helped arrange an evening safari for us since we were landing in the afternoon and was a great experience, the game drive and the dinner were just amazing! The staff is very helpful! They go out if their way to help you. Laundry service was great and quick! Over all we loved the property and the experience!

    The staff were amazing!! Clive and Freedom on the bar were great! The food is delicious and we were so grateful for them organising us a private dinner with complimentary wine for our honeymoon. The honeymoon suite did not disappoint. The venue were happy to organise anything you needed and nothing was too much trouble... even insect repellent was provided!

    - Front desk Manager Adenty goes out of his way to make your stay better - he organized things, gave helpful tips, and was checking in - location is amazing - walking distance from the Falls, surrounded by restaurants - room was very comfortable and had all facilities I needed, all in great working condition - breakfast was tasty, and coffee was amazing!

    The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was scrumptious and always served with a smile. The swimming pool was an absolute luxury and excellent for a cool off after an expedition.     We visited the Falls in dry season so a little less active.

    We visited the Falls in dry season so a little less active. A lot of fun excursions for nature and safari also available. Pay attention to temps and humidity. If you choose to check out Zambia, I would consider booking a tour company. A long walk plus taxi otherwise.

    The falls are breathtaking, the activities in the area are...

    The falls are breathtaking, the activities in the area are numerous. The shopping is interesting, nice places to eat, we really liked ‘the 3 monkeys’, great pizza. Lovely people and it felt safe during the day. Got over the painful harassment at the markets and up and down the street. The heat is exhausting.
