First and foremost was the view, especially from the swimming pool. You can see three mountain ranges. One cannot believe that one is only one hour away from Kandy. Then the staff, was extremely helpful, especially the restaurant staff. I will specially like to pick out Namal. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was cooked properly as my wife had a bad stomach.

Aarunya Nature Resort has free bikes and an outdoor swimming pool in Kandy. The property features a fitness centre, as well as a garden. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. The rooms are amazing and the views are exceptional and will stay with me for a long time. The people working there were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was excellent.

I really liked the environment and how clean the place was. The host was very considerate, even though I first booked the wrong room. There was a big pool and a place for barbecue. There was also a small playground with swings. The owner also has a big German shepherd dog, it's very friendly.

Located amidst rolling green hills and the Madulkelle Tea Estate, this property offers tents with a terrace, a seating area, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. The most beautiful place we stayed at in Sri Lanka and the service was the best in Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dorwin Heights. Despite the challenging circumstances following the recent cyclone we did not feel any of the effects. The hotel is brand new and still under construction in some areas, and the surrounding area is still recovering (we could see some landslides, but all roads are cleared) but the staff worked hard to make our stay feel relaxing and enjoyable. The service was impressive - quick, friendly, and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious! The staff deserve a huge shout-out for their warm hospitality, making us feel welcome and cared for. We spent three nights in a Deluxe Room with balcony and we very much enjoyed the balcony, the view, the comfy bed, enough space to empty our backpacks and the clean and new bathroom with an excellent shower. If you're looking for a comfortable and peaceful oasis above the buzzing city, The Dorwin Heights is a great choice!
