Our stay at Corte Cavolo was just perfect! Marcello and his family are the perfect host and the accommodation is just stunning with beautiful views of the village. You should definately try the wines they produce, very tasteful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend this place to anyone!

Location was good and within walking distance to everything. Room was modern and nice. Very quiet at night for sleeping. Cleaning staff did a very good job each day. Free Water bottles and snacks was a bonus and appreciated. Has old style lift in building but still handy to have with luggage.

Room Safe did not work and not fixed by staff. Not enough shelf space near wash basin for toiletries. Heating rack in bathroom did not work. Minimal space in room for two large travel bags to unpack. AC worked well but remote control not working properly to adjust airflow. Bed not comfortable and sagging. Need more light in bathroom and bedroom. Don’t need a fancy LED colour light gimmick in the shower. No Reception staff on site during 4 days stay to obtain site seeing information.

Positive section of review
Staff are very helpful, especially Riccardo, Gessica and Giuseppe. Excellent location. Very good buffet breakfast. I would recommend it to my family and friends but would encourage the property to work on improving its services further.

There is no elevator in the old building, so accessibility is difficult for the elderly and the physically disabled. Check-out time relatively early. Despite pre-approved early check-in at 11.00, when we arrived at 12.00, the room was not yet ready. The front desk is sometimes understaffed, prompting the front desk agent to leave the reception unattended while they accompany new guests or cater for their requests.

Hotel was at a good location, not too far from main attractions, has lots of parking available, room was specious and clean, staff friendly and helpful , great breakfast. Would happily stay again!

No kettle - I don’t drink coffee and hot water was only available via coffee machine which made water taste like coffee anyway.

I liked the fact that it is close to the train station and the airport shuttle stop; it is also near the historic center.

I did not like the fact that it felt like a basement with a small window for ventilation, and the entrance door was made of metal and did not insulate sound. Also, the elevator right in front of the room entrance was used all night. This “room” was not shown in any photos on the website.
