We loved our stay at Alpen Resort & Spa! Thanks for the upgrade to a room with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We really enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool and all the other spa facilities as well. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants in Zermatt. Accommodating staff. Afternoon cake and tea. We could use the spa during our last day as well which was very convenient as our train back was leaving in the evening.

We loved the hotel, it's traditional design and the views from the room. The room was clean, comfortable & well maintained. Lovely place to stay. Just like at home. Would definitely recommend. A very nice 10 minute walk from centre, with fabulous views. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We loved our trip and will definitely be back.

The Zermatt Budget Rooms are underground and come with free WiFi and TV, a 5-minute walk away from the Sunnegga Cable Car and the Glacier Express.
