The Royal Hotel in Aarhus is absolutely beautiful, a historic building dating back to the mid-19th century, full of charm and character. The rooms are elegant, the staircase is stunning, and the original elevator from the early 1920s is a real gem. Special thanks to a breakfast male waiter who was on shift around 7 o'clock in the morning on Thursday October 17th and Friday October 18th. He was very friendly with us and helped to get breakfast also for our food allergic child.

The room was quite small, but it had a decent bathroom. The breakfast was beyond all expectations with a huge variety and selection of delicious food. There was a small lounge area near reception with free coffee, tea and fresh fruits available for guests. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was central to the main shopping area, railway station and Aros art gallery.
