The location was amazing - right on the beachfront of an unspoilt beach in Frangokastello. The self-catering accommodation was perfect. Friendly host and attentive. Clean and well maintained. We returned for a further 2 nights at the end of our holiday and won't hesitate to return again in the future. Beautiful sunsets from terrace and listening to the sea from your bed .......... perfect!

The beginning of the journey was dramatic. A refusal message came from the facility despite prior booking through Booking.com. The intricately planned plan of visiting eastern Crete collapsed like a domino hit. Too late to correct the routes. The owner, however, approached my problem in a task-oriented way. He accommodated my group in a room that was satisfactory for Loutro's conditions. It must be remembered that the real reward of staying in Loturo is not the standard of the room but the view from the balcony of the bay and the town. A big plus for the approach to the topic. In the time and standard expected, there was no chance of finding a room in mid-August.

The room was perfect, and the bed was comfortable. The food was great, but the viw was unbeatable. Two brothers run this hotel brilliantly. We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay again.

The room was great, the views were amazing, the private little beach was an absolute treat, the food was out of this world and the atmosphere was lovely but the wonderful hosts were definitely the best part.
