The bathroom was huge and the bathtub was jacuzzi style. Bed was 4 poster and a large relaxing area. Grounds were very beautiful. Room were clean and spacious. Staff at reception very welcoming. Ritual sets in bathroom very nice touch. We were so surprised at how accommodating the hotel was. Our room was upgraded, we were treated to chocolates and procesco, and a VIP breakfast which was absolutely gorgeous and such a lovely surprise. We loved the VIP room - a ski chalet theme that was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. A cosy, romantic atmosphere that made our stay even more special. The live music in the lobby was lovely to sit and relax with a drink. You can see they have upgraded their rooms. Having a mini fridge was great for drinks and snacks for my daughter. The grounds are fab, with short or long walks which makes a great start to a sunny day with plenty of fresh air. Food is excellent and breakfast is well organised with a self service area. The room had a balcony looking out onto the gardens. The pool is a lovely relaxed space with a jacuzzi and steam room and it was great to have the pool to ourselves at times.
