Very cosy hotel in the city centre, excellent location next to everything. You can walk around the city. Nice breakfast, big rooms where you feel like home. Free coffee and tea all day at the reception. Warm, clean, comfortable. Also nespresso machine in the room. We could even see the northern lights from the hotel!

Center of city, close to everything, 5 minutes from downtown, close bus station which allowed really handy pickups to tours and excursions when the weather was rough, the shared bathroom ain't that bad considering there are 1 on each floor and depends on the people staying there how long they take,which is not long, really helpful staff which aided me in every request, if I ever visit Iceland again definitely will stay there again

Very nice small boutique hotel in Reykjavik. The room was very clean with beautiful decor. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was phenomenal. I had a very good stay at Hotel Phoenix and can recommend it to anyone.

Such a lovely stay! We only stayed one night but wished we were there longer. Super easy keycard system. Massive space with a great kitchenette. Many towels were provided. Beautiful big windows to see the city and surrounds with. A very comfortable bed as well. And lots of parking out the front, very close to the grocery store too.

Amazing team - incredibly attentive: above and beyond attention to detail. The location is great - super close to the main road where all the vibe is happening. The hotel main area itself is gorgeously decorated, super inviting to relax with some tea or wine. It feels cozy, organic, homely and elegantly designed. The rooms are a delight - beds are amazing and comfortable, great temperature, the amenities smell amazing! Great quality. There’s so much attention to details. A mini fridge, kettle and small wardrobe all there.

    We loved our stay here, decor was quirky contemporary and stylish, comfortable and very warm for our visit in the colder months. It felt ‘wonderfully hygge’. Our room, an upgrade, had a lovely view of the mountains and the sea. It was cosy and very comfortable and clean. It was also very quiet. Breakfast had good variety, it was great to have some vegan options and plant milks and the Bircher muesli was delicious. We loved the all day hot coffee and teas. We enjoyed our hot drinks and a relax after a day of sightseeing.

    The staff were absolutely lovely, really went above and beyond and so friendly. The hotel had a great, relaxed atmosphere and was so nicely decorated. We got upgraded on arrival which was nice. parking was really easy and always got a spot right outside. Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Also, various free refreshments in the lobby and delicious food & alcohol in the restaurant.
