Where to start? -the most friendly family that i met on my 3 weeks trip around Srí Lanka. Their smile is contagious :) Delicious breakfast, everyday changing it. And the view is mesmerising. Wow. We enjoyed our stay in Green village homestay to the fullest. Thank you. Will gladly come back.

We stayed for 2nights at The One, and it was perfect. The detached unit is well-designed, spotlessly clean, and has some great touches only found at small boutique places like this. For instance, outside the room is a patio with sofa, dining table, and a hammock. It overlooks the beautiful Ella greenery. Inside, the bed is large and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and modern. It includes toiletries, shower gel, shampoo etc, drinking water, a fridge, etc. A fabulous breakfast is served on the private patio. A delicious sri lankan omelette, toast, pancake, fresh fruits, smoothie, etc. Hospitality by Dom, the owner, and his two staff members is excellent. The location is very convenient, right on the pathway to Little Adams peak. A great view of nine arches bridge was just a short hike away too. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Hope to be back one day!

We are completely satisfied with our stay in Superview. We are warmly welcomed by the family and provided with good breakfast and dinner. Our room was spacious and very clean. Water and tea was provided as well as towels and a hairdryer. The property is very well maintained. The host helps with the planning and implementation of excursions. He also has a vehicle. Always happy ro stay again

An absolutely wonderful place! Starting with the location – just a few steps from the heart of Ella, yet very quiet at night. The uphill walk twice a day was no problem, even for my parents, who are in their 70s. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with incredibly comfortable beds. The balconies are amazing, offering views of lush greenery and squirrels running across the rooftops. Everything was impeccably clean. We spent 3 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners are fantastic and hospitable people. We also had the best breakfasts in Sri Lanka here – not only delicious and beautifully presented but also generous portions. The owner helped us organize local sightseeing and onward transportation toward Yala. I highly recommend this place, not just for a short stay but also as a base for a longer visit, where you can fill your day with attractions and then relax in perfect comfort.

The owner, Janith, was very polite, friendly, and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel, I was a little stressed because my money had been stolen. The owner and his wife’s warm smiles immediately made me feel relaxed. Although I had booked a standard room, they kindly gave me a free upgrade to a larger room with an amazing view. I truly enjoyed my 2-day stay, especially spending time on the balcony. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Very nice, charming property. The room was simple, but clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and it had a net, hot water in the shower and the best part was our large, private terrace where we served breakfast in the morning. The view and peacefulness were the highlights here. From the terrace you have unobstructed views to a green scenery and a beautiful waterfall. Breakfast was also delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the owners son came with his tuk tuk to pick us up from the main road and also provided us with tuk tuk service the rest of the time. It is also very good value for the money and I can only recommend this stay.

In our opinion the sweetest place to stay in Ella! The family is simply lovely and showed us great Sri Lankan hospitality. When we arrived sick from Hatton the owner and his family took care of us, drove us to the doctor and bought fresh king coconuts from the market just for us! When we recovered the owner was very helpful giving us tips and advises on what to see and how to get there with lovely hand-drawn maps. The view from the room is breathtaking with one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen in Sri Lanka. The accommodation was perfect, the location is great and the breakfast is amazing with fruits pancakes coconut rotti and fruit juices. You can also rent a scooter just downstairs from Paraiso Guest House. Of course we highly recommend this stay!!
